i figure if it turns into a israel vs syria iran air war, the shit hitting the fan will be real. problem with iran is bunker busters wont do the job of taking out thier nuclear program. someone has to go in, find the underground shit and detonate it. iran would have to be bombed into the stone age,occupied and purged of thier leadership, thier weapons and rebuild from the ground up like iraq and afganistan. anything short of that will just create more enemies with nothing left to lose. a half beaten iran will just retaliate along thier borders, they can easily fuck with our occuptations and some claim do anyways.

i dont agree as far as the US soldiers are concerned, its not like vets back at home are chilling on stolen rugs and gold detailed furniture,tapastries from museums on thier walls,eating from nice silverware looted from some dead guys demolished home. israel by all rights should defend thier country, but thier ways of dealing with enemies makes even the US's contraversial policies tame in comparison. right now theres a 72 hour ultimatum with syria over hezbollah and kidnapped soilders, right now noone is backing down.

muslims werent all that innocent back in the day too, part of why the crusades happened is because arab invaders were taking down the byzantine empire and many christian nations in europe. the argument can be made that those muslims were more humane to the conquered christian subjects and jews than the christian leaders they replaced.

another argument can also be made that the crusader were attempting to build christian kindgoms near the silk routes as being the alterior motive under the guise of religious holy war. those muslim nations at the time were wealthier and more technologically advanced for that time.

Mm mm, but you missed a bit of what I was getting at. I said that the MUSLIMS are all set for the crusades in their cultural development; to be honest my humble studies into the specific workings of monotheistic religions seems to say that this happens wherever people gather to conjure up the most terrifying type of friend pretense they can. And this is what we have to deal with. Take a read up on the Templars and just be thankful that it is mainly the fantatism and not the military prowress that is popping up in the Allah community.
And of course there were political/economical factors in the bottom; it is depressing how many wars that can, in the end, be credited to over population.

And yes, the crusades were pretty much the first stance of christian Europe to fight back against the first islam storm. And though the christians were a bit more anxious to paint counquered and/or surrendering cities in blood and the muslims were a bit better at building universities and hospitals instead, it was pretty much the same shit all around.

I'll try I'm ready to be done with fighting as a life style. Everything I do is to promote better battle efficency. I'm sick of it after 6 years. It is a hard way to live and keep a family. Not to mention actually enjoy playing metal. Bands want me but they can not deal with the military life. It is time I passed the torch onto someone else driven to meet todays current military demands. There was no war when I joined. I joined for the education, to afford future education, and establish myself. I have about completed my end of the deal 110% so it is time to go and start a personal life again. I will do want I what for once.

Battle and war will always be in my blood though so please excuse my chest beating once in a while. Once you have felt battle fever it never leaves you feeling the same. I here its kinda like crack
