Hehe, I've described this problem before.
I use Finale, and the midi distortion sounds absolutely atrocious.
I have used this quite before. The sound is like "notes passing though a distortion chamber", or like someone trying to sound the tunes using only breathing in and out and shaping their mouth.
Well, its pretty hard to describe, and basically it sounds really gay, not worth me posting it and you wasting 3kb of your life.
It's funny, back when I had the demo version, Finale would crash during midi exporting yet still produce a file, haha, this file had an awesome distortion sound, and I can't recreate it with the full version and proper exporting.
Anyway, thanks for the good feedback!
