Why do people get so excited over blistering heat and humidity? Not to mention a bright glowing sphere in the sky that should be obscured by clouds. If it is over 80 degrees I probably won't leave the house or do anything outside. Which is sad because Oregon is beautiful. I prefer the fall season myself, with winter being a close second. Spring is just an ugly reminder of the times to come.

I hear ya, but I like spring in Ohio when the air is crisp and it's slightly overcast. It doesn't happen too often. Extreme weather makes me feel extreme emotions at times if I let it so sometimes that can be a good thing especially when I feel like writing.

I like summer, no school, swimming, camping, but winter's my favorite still. Although I don't see anything really wrong with summer unless it's excessively hot, and up in this shitty city we don't get many warm days.

I didn't know it was a myth as much as it was a joke. To my knowledge Finland is colder, and Scotland is cooler in the summer than Norway. I could be wrong though.

the good thing here in australian it stays between 20-30 degrees most of the year, even in winter

Try working outside for ten hours when it's 110 according to the thermometer your workplace keeps in the shade, and, when the work day's over, getting into the car with broken AC you had to park out in the sun all day. Or try doing your regular workout (the one that makes you sweat profusely in rooms that would make an amazon's right tit nip) in a mid-July Italian wood-paneled, un-air conditioned gym. I've done both, and guess what? After two weeks or so, it's not that bad. If you weren't such a group of mewling faggots you'd be able to deal with the moderate levels of heat you're subjected to whenever you leave your air-conditioned nightmares, and there would be no thread of whining for me to close.
