QUESTION
Im confused, on power tab when you click on the guitar it shows u the tuning right? So anyways my question is. There's a number beside the note (for example C2 F2 Bb2 Eb3 G3 C4) and that's what confuses me because on my tuner theres a number 440Hz and you can go up and down but I just don't get it can someone help please?

The number on your tuner is what the reference point is- usually between 435-445Hz. C2 B3 E2 etc. are the note names and the octave that they are in, C1 being an octave below C2 and so on

Your tuner will automatically 'work out' which octave you are in, as you tune down a string, it will start of E2 (we'll use the low E as an example). Then as you tune down past D, C, B, A, G, F, you will get to E again- which will now be E1; an octave below what you first started with. The high E string is E4, because obviously you have an octave (E3) on the D string, 2nd fret
