I used to have my bands webpage at CJB.net but they threw ads all over the goddamn place so its not even usable anymore. Any of you guys come across some good NO ADS free hosting?

Definitely just use myspace man

You can then blank out the entire page and recode your own and put that there. Use imageshack for web images... Ive done it for my bands myspace which I never finished yet, except the images are coming off my own host.

ah yeah, you posted as i was replying. Good free webhosts, Im not too sure on, i used to use www.1asphost.com

they used to be good, I cant vouch for it now but all they used to do was put in a little text ad at the bottom of the page... unobtrusive. The bandwidth on them was good, anyways.

Fake edit: actually, going over my 1asphost account, there doesnt appear to be any ads. Id use them

You can still do a myspace page with a normal web layout, or at least use your existing layout for your myspace in future if you go that way but yeah as you say that isnt the point atm.

edit: no there does seem to be ads, but literally alls it is is; "100 MB free hosting. Click here to build your own free site."

massive banners across the top of the page if i remember correctly...

see, my site uses like 6 frames, so if theres any banners stuck on there, you will actually see 6 of them which makes it pretty much useless.
