Subwoofer Metal - Suggestions
Im always in town driving around and shit... I have a 1000 watt Rockford sub and pioneer amp and was wondering what bands you know of that have good SUB bass. Im not talking constant doubles or high frequency (over 100hz bass). I mean stuff that hits and beats the hell out of you.
The only way to know this is if you have a sub, so please suggest.

Cephalic Carnage uses a lot of "sub drops" during key points in songs. Those will shatter windows.

Dripping suck, but that's irrelevant, it'll do good in a car. try some really fast, intense grindy stuff too. Regurgitate, Rotten Sound, Fuck The Facts, Inhume. etc.

I've heard speakers buzz and "click" and shit like that. I'm pretty sure that's about all that happens. I guess they can just stop working too, i'm not sure.

when you blow a speaker it just sounds really distorted (almost like you got the bass cranked right up and makes it muffled). If you break the + or - wires running into the voice coil then it will just die completely.

You just need to drop your bass amp and cab from somewhere high. Make sure you know where it will land so you can place the mic there.

Oh and i just found a way to tell if a song has bass drops easily, if you have decent speakers (monitors preferably) and an EQ as well. Just boost all the lows, cut all they highs, and when you hit a bass drop, its obvious.
