Avatars
Having a little bit of trouble adding an avatar to my name on this site. Any tips on how it's done here? Thanks!

what exactly is the problem?
user cp -> edit avatar -> Browse
you might have to resize it (photoshop, pait shop pro etc.), there is a limit (cant remember what it is)

Well, some people create their own with different programs such as Paint or Photoshop or whatever. But if you want some from the internet already made, there are a few websites that are fairly popular.
hot avatars
avatarity
avatar hell
avatar page
beyond avatars
And then of course -- if you have, say, a specific band you want -- you can simply try searching yahoo or google images by typing "[insert specifics here] avatar".

Ten Ton Alien, is that Kiefer Sutherland? Looks like 'im.
My avatar is so damn simple. I just cut out a cross, flipped it, and ta-friggin-da. You can do a lot of simple things with Paint. Also, try asking Bia. She creates custom ones I think -- they move and shit. But noobs might not be worthy of her service.

Psh. I don't even watch 24. But from Dark City and Phone Booth etc is what I know him from. I'm one of those geeks that are like "Millions of people are watching it on television and it's no longer a select fanbase? Fuck it". Still, good actor.
Anyway, it can be something like this, but it's kinda gay. I just threw it together.

Bia did a custom avatar for me that I use here and a cool one for a friend of the "Court of the Crimson King" cover that flashes color to b/w.

You should use the In the Court of the Crimson King one. Somebody should, anyway.
I think this thread can be closed.
Yep, I was right.
