heh, i actually thought you were going to say you were going there when i saw the thread title by you. truth is i prefer the island in the winter when no ones there. id rather go with a friend or two and have the beach, and pretty much whole outdoors of the island to ourselves. its insanely quite in the winter, and i like getting drunk and roaming around the hotel hallways. its also fun to get on the roofs. see, in the winter, cops arnt really on the lookout, so i get away with lots of shit, and i only live about 45 minutes from there.

I never really did shit but work and study during spring break in collage, but I also went to SIU and JALC for the most part and was totally broke.

It wasn't until I was in nuclear power school that I actually had a typical spring brake. During a 4 day break a group of us drove to Myrtle Beach SC and got a motel room for 2 nights.

First night we got drunk, everyone about passed out, but I decided to go walk on the beach and reflect with myself.

I was drunk and walking into endless night when I seen a fire on the beach. I walked to it and found about 30 Canadians that drove down for spring break. They invited me to hang out and brought me to a new level of drunk I have never again felt.

The details of my time with Canadians is just crazy. It would take a pages to descibe everything that happened that night and the next day and night. I ended up hanging with them the entire next day and night with them. Very nice people really.

The importent thing to remember is that Canadians know how party. In fact, I'm willing to say they have even perfected the technology of beer bongs that extends light years beyond the rest of the universe. For example, one beer bong ran from one room to the other via a balcony above, but there are no Americans that can remember the design after having used it.

It is top secret Canadian technology.

I'll be taking a train up to Santa Barbra for the first week to visit an aunt. SB is a great city. The second week will either be time spent on misc. stuff or a trip to San Francisco.

we go to school from sept-late june, with little week breaks inbetween but never more than 10 days off. our school system does spring break really late too, not for another 4 weeks or so

yeah we get off from the end of may up untill the end of august and we have a 2 week break for "winter" and a one week spring break. but im in highschool and everything is different in college.

ah, i too had said it a while back. Blizzardbeast had said a few weeks ago "i thought you quit drinking", so i figured it was towards me too. well, no we're even

oh yeah, and for the topic:
yesterday i went to south padre island. me and my friend were going to meet a few other friends and his brother. when we got there we called them and they said they werent going. so we started drinking at about 7. i usually like to start before 5, but since i knew id be up really late, it was ok. so we were walking on the beach, in the dark, with our drinks. i love the shore at night! i ate at subway then i bought some cigs and lost them 2 hours later. we met up with my friends former step brother and hung out with him for a long time. hes about 16 and it turns out he has hydro. we went to a little store and bought a corn pipe. im not a pothead so i only took about 4 good hits. people say you dont need much when its hydro anyway. that was about 11 o' clock. it hit me really good. we went down and saw some people doing the bungie jumping crap and noticed there was a place serving free pancakes. it was about 2 am then and i get hungry when i drink, that combined with weed and i was fucking hungry. we wandered around for 2 hours talking to random people. i ended up buying 3 sticks of beef jerky, 3 bags of chips, water and gatorade, some weird gummi bears with chili powder on them. we fell asleep in my car around 4, and woke up at 7, got home and slept till 12, and now im here. nothing wild or crazy, but it was fun and i didnt get arrested. im going back friday or sooner with more people, should be a little more interesting then.

my brother goes to depaul and they start aug/sept. but they are off from thanksgiving untill new years..one week of spring break and they get out in june, which is really late for college. hah he gets out after me and im in hs

Dude! I just read something today about candy with chili powder on it from Mexico. They're saying don't eat any candy from Mexico like that cuz a lot of it is lead contaminated.

yeah, thats old news here. i sort of forget cause its so common here. we have so much mexican candy here, and most of it has chili powder. i guess ive been around it so long, it seems ok. i dont eat it very often anymore though. in fact, that was the first time ive had it in months.

didnt go friday, but i went yesterday (saturday). IT SUCKED. if you care to know...

most things were fine for the beginning of the night. we were drinking here and there around the island. i bought some food and whatever. theres no point in describing the first half of the night, it was all calm and normal. though that may seem boring, i wish it had remained that way. eventually we decided to go to Beach access 5, where we would set up the tent. we got a little stuck in the soft sand at the beginning, but a little push got us through. the tent got set up just fine. by the way it was me, my guitarist, his brother, our friend, and his friend. so 5 people. there are thousands of people at access 5 at this time. my guitarist and his brother decide to take a walk. so me and my friend, along with his friend, walk the other way. hours pass, and we are decently drunk. though my friends friend, who i will now simply refer to as "ass" is WASTED. when we get back to the tent, one of the stakes had popped out of the sand, so we are trying to fix it. my friend tells "ass" to help. for some reason i cannot understand, "ass" goes to one of the main corners of the tent, pulls it out of the ground, and begins to dismantle the tent. my friend got up and pushed him off and gave him a good yelling. so "ass" stumbles off while my friend and i try to repair the tent. its so fucking windy now that we cant do it, after 20 minutes i give up and go sit in my car. my phone rings and its my guitarist and his brother, they have now left the whole area and are back in a room with some other friends. they fuckin ditched us. so im sitting there starring forward when i see "ass" stumbling around. I see my friend tell "ass" to help him. this is beyond me. "ass" walks over to a nearby tent, and starts pulling that one out of the ground!!!!!!! people we dont even know. as he takes apart the strangers' tent, my friend is yelling the whole time. when "ass" finally hears him, he turns around and he falls backwards onto the other peoples tent! now is where he really amazes me. he starts to punch the fuckin tent, and in doing so, is also punching the peeople in the tent. they get out, including their friends in the car beside them, and ALL of them are ready to kill "ass". my friend has to, very intensely, defend "ass". the guys say they are going to drag "ass" out into the dunes and pound him into the sand. ...holy shit, this is too long. to wrap it up, we leave around 5am and get stuck back at the entrance. we dig around the tires, and get out. i got home at 6, and slept till 12. fuckin stupid.

that sucks man.. im guessing today is your last day? well i got a whole week left of school and then its finally break
