Performance Clothing
Well ive got a lot of shows coming up, they arent metal, theyre just my solo stuff, more of just plain solo shred rock, and im looking for some clothes for this. Heres an example of what id like, http://www.robertmarcello.net/robpose.jpg I like the black jeans with the seams on the legs and such, and also i like the black button up dress shirt. None of those clothes are "normal" theyve got that "rock" look to them. If anyone knows where i can get ahold of this kind of clothing it would be great!
Thanks, Drake

Grab a seamstress that has a good eye. I designed a few things when I sang in high school. One was scoop necked bright blue satin. I don't think it would look right on a guy unless he was Freddie Mercury though.
Sometimes you can find neat things at clean thrift stores.

If you weren't 4 hours away I'd tell you to get your ass up here and I'd do it for ya real cheap. A little alteration on pants is pretty easy sometimes. Same with a shirt.
If you can find someone that would like to tackle the design and maybe you can give them credit for the costuming that might work. Call some of the lesser dramatics places around there and see if you can come up with something there. A friend of mine did medieval faire and theater costuming locally years ago and she did it more for the fun of it. They paid for the materials but she did the work. Yours would be a lot simpler.
Pm me with some details on the pants and shirt or maybe other shots if that's what you want something like. From what I can tell it doesn't look like too much that couldn't be done to premades.

for some reason ive been wearing a western style shirt for gigs, mine is a little more plain than this, but yeah, this link is just an example.the one i have, i found where an evicted nieghbor throw out a ton of stuff, which was good score after cleaning it. i think i do it for contrast, living up north, playing metal shows, wearing a shirt thats stylistically irrelevent, but fits well and looks good

.....if you don't think your everyday clothes are "cool" enough, you should probably change your wardrobe.

Well, bald heads or unique hairstyles, ridiculous beards, cleavage for or aft or both, flash, fringe, glitter, solid color, make-up, contacts, and drinking from small gas cans can all be trademarks. It wouldn't hurt for a gimmick if he's good.
But that looks more like something a bit out of the ordinary than really way out there.
"every girl crazy 'bout a sharp dressed man"
low tech-- That shirt is cool. It looks old school, Roy Rogers style. I had one similar long time ago when I was a little kid and walpurgis wore it for Halloween when he was about 4 or 5. It's cool though. Looks like a Shepler's of Wichita western shirt.

those western shirts, if not too detailed up and color-chaotic are cool. i found two actually. ebays got crazy western vintage, some stuff almost looks chinese with the embroidery. i was thinking of ordering more for gigs actually, noone wears this stuff around here except the obligatory token rockabilly freak every town seems to have. thats what makes it kinda cool.

hahaha. I only have black shirts--quite a few too.
On the contrary, I use other colors like white, green, or black as workout shirts, but I don't think that counts because I only wear those for 1-2 hours twice a week.
