Choosing a tattoo
My birthday present to myself... if I've got the $$$.
Anyway, I'm choosing a design, so get in on it. Other suggestions (especially fonts) are welcome if not gay, stupid or irrelevant.

But I'd also suggest not getting a tat with the generic old english fonts. Use a font from one of your favorite bands.

You could always get the words "HELP ME" tattoed backwards across your forehead. That'd be metal.
EDIT: In all honesty, though, I'm not too crazy about any of those fonts. I dont' know, they just seem kinda overdone. Besides, if you go with one of those, you run the risk of being mistaken for a 50 cent fan. Just work out a design of your own, taht way it'll be unique and if it ends up sucking you can blame yourself. Just get something that's not too difficult to read, because what's the point of writing something if it can't be read.

Well, having Old English on my right forearm arm, those Old English fonts are a lot better..I like the bottom two. Was does Ultima Forsan mean?
I want to get a tattoo on my like...the bottom of my forearm..kinda on the side...I think tattoos there look really good..I don't exactly know what to get..I want something sharp looking, like a dagger/scythe or something. hmmmmmm...a battle axe! lol

i find the problem with old-english style fonts is that gangsters use them... and specific gangs use specific fonts... so yeah... its kinda risky if you lived in north america, but i'm really not sure about australia.. i'd say the 3rd one down...

Alright, this has turned out kind of funny...
I have no idea why gangsters would use archaic English fonts. We don't have gangsters here. I know exactly ONE person with a gothic font tattoo, and it says simply "love". Looks good, too.
If you'd thought about it, you might realise the reason I chose those fonts for a latin phrase is that it's what Latin, written by English speaking people, was was usually written in. It wouldn't look like a fucking tattoo in Comic Sans, would it??
Tattoos cost a fortune. Good artists are just that - artists. Their time is expensive. Hence, I am not getting a complicated design involving demons, sodomy or anything that Dylan suggests. There is plenty of room on my body, and this is a rather small tattoo.
Ultima Forsan means "perhaps the last hour". Google is only SECONDS away, pricks.

Yeah, it's legit though. Normally you won't find prices like that, but the guy I went to does it as a side job/hobby, he doesn't tattoo for his main income, so he doesn't charge much. Everything is clean and up to par, I made sure to check into that shit before I made any decisions.

In canada theyre done by the hour... which ranges from $100 - $180 an hour, depending on the amount of time spent.... here if they spend more time, the hourly fee will decrease. Ontop of that, you get variable price changes like it will cost more money for more colours and such. But for their display tattoos, they have set minimum prices, plus a time charge so that people who cant handle the pain and like to stop alot have to pay more. In the end, it all depends on the parlour.

My cousin is a tattoo artist. He charges based on how much effort he has to put into it. The more elaborate, the more it's going to cost you. A normal price is anywhere between $80-$120. (And by normal I mean like about a fist-sized design on your shoulder)

Me and my friends made a homemade tattoo gun a while ago using a sharpened high e string on a guitar, a toothbrush, pen, and a CD player motor. We gave each other a few minor tattoos on our hands and ankles. I have a small gemini symbol on my lower thumb and a lotus flower on my ankle, they actually look good for being homemade tattoos.

dunno if i shared this or not, but meh! sorry for photo quality, the photo was taken on my other half's phone and he e-mailed it to me, in memory of a very dear friend of mine who died a couple of years ago. am hopefully gonna get some proper photos taken when i get the time and ŁŁŁ...
... btw the word is "Linden".
Photo was taken that evening after having the tattoo done.
as for what font you want, up to you, but may i make a suggestion? print them out, and tape it to your arm (?) with surgical tape, and "wear" it for a while and decide which you like best before getting it done
