This is total bullshit - "Who can use guitar pro the best!"
Use your time to learn guitar rather than a program. I know far too many people that write songs and killer solos on GP but then end up in a display of horrible mutilated messy notes when they play along.
I was at least expecting guitar pro backing with some form of guitar over it anyway (unless I'm judging them from the one file that actually played)
Winning an actual guitar contest would do far more for your egos than this

Oh my god, do you actually think someone is gonna print out a diagram of the little poll graph and frame it if they win?
Fuck its all for a bit of fun, and HC is right, this is really the only way of recording riffs some people write write, and is an easy way of storing them until you want to use them in a song.
In fact i sometimes find it easier to write songs straight onto GP5 then learn them afterwards, stops me from going over the same riffs or patterns again.
