File Sharing - The New Generation
This is quite interesting.
New features of the above awesomeness:
* It's a BitTorrent client that runs in a Firefox browser.
* It allows you to have a network of friends with which you can trade data
* It's entirely P2P (as BitTorrent would imply, of course)
* It's encrypted
Now, seeing as we don't have an FTP anymore...

Sounds like a cool idea. I'll let it run for a while before I jump on board, though. Plus, I'm not sure what Mozilla is going to say about this, as I am sure this is highly illegal.

When I said illegal I wasn't reffering to these guys attaching shit to Mozilla's browser. I know it's open source. However, the shit they are attaching is in and of itself illegal, and that's why Mozilla may have a problem having their browser associated with this kind of stuff that might result in a lawsuit. Unless, of course, Mozilla has a pretty strong disclaimer in their user agreement basically washing their hands of anything you do to Firefox.

Ain't illegal. P2P isn't file-sharing in the traditional sense. In fact, you could argue that this is even less illegal than publically sourced torrents. I don't know this, but I'm pretty sure Mozilla will be cheering the development of this stuff.
Naturally, this add-on will have lots of nifty and entirely legal applications as well.

also, while we are on the subject of mozilla firefox extensions- they rule! you can get "foxy tunes" which allows you to control itunes/winamp through mozilla and ad block which blocks all the ads on the internet that are embedded. also you can get something called yakalike which is basically a portable chat window for each website you visit. i thought about making a thread about it for this forum...

Recently...I have become torrent obsessed..again...downloading several thousands of dollars worth of illegal movies, programs and porn....there is a god.
I need a bigger hardrive...at least a 350gb.

lol. Mine is only an 80gb(bought it for $300 from gf)...but I installed a nice LG dvd burner into it, so all the movies I watch I burn. I'm not reaping the benefits of downloading games though.
