help with a name!
i need a name for the historical society i belong to c+p'd from e-mail from my friend
"....first decide on a time pre 1600 that suits
what you want to do, and also if you can a country in northern Europe."
well what i wanna do in the society is to do/help out with cross-stitch but also want to get involved in the fighting with swords and stuff  currently doing a web search for names, any help would be appreciated. something that uses either part of my name would be good too,

i belong to a re-enactment society..i used to be in the Swords of Pendragon and then i joined the Dragon Hoard..its bloody (and sometimes is bloody) good fun...such a rush..Caedmyrn is my name..means wise warrior..cool eh..havent really helped you with your name though...go to http://www.20000-names.com and click on celtic names..theres loads if thats what your after..hope this helped..AAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!.....battle cry..had to be done.. |

So it's just a rag-tag group of people pretending they're from before the 1600s? If you're serious about re-enactment, pick a specific time period and stick with it.

I think this is the first time I can honestly say I've ever seen "love and sparklie snuggles" ever mentioned on this forum. Or any metal forum, for that matter. Not entirely sure what kind of response you're hoping to get, but good luck all the same.

hahaha thanx guys! heading over to that names place now, am part of the SCA, and have to pick my name and herald, am fine with my herald, just toying with a few names, and it's just a name for me and yeah am the only one that likes sparklies and proud of it dammit!  will freely admit to being odd better than normal eh? if you like will keep you posted about what name i decide to use, if not interested say so and i won't! lol
