OK, I am just starting to fool around making my own music videos and whatnot just for fun, and sure enough, I buy Adobe Premier and yet its not what I need. My question is, are there any video editing programs that can literally let me "photoshop" the video? Or edit certain things such as contrast and whatnot, and maybe edit the way people appear somewhat. Thanks. I'm new to all of this and have no fucking clue. Later

i use the Pinnacle studio liquid edition its a huge upgrade to the standard package they firt set you up with. it has all the photo shot pro type features,color,contrast, speed and all the shifts. tons of sample audios you can add.you can also add background music from a cd into it, plus text overlays all the stuff youd want. the only thing ive found is whatever program you and up using thay all have the problem with audio/video syncing. the longer the clip say a complete concert the audio either grows or shrinks leaving you with video with the audio being either 2 seconds faster than the video by the end of the show or 2 seconds slower. also if you dont have a brackground program killing program some things tend to freeze up your pc or worm their way into you aidio like instant message sounds. i use a program called enditall.exe to make sure the only thing thats working on my pc while im working on a project is the video im doing at the time. long story short they all have their faults but theres tricks to overcome the problems. by the way make sure you have a good fast pc with alot of memory because video eats up huge amounts of space
