CD ripper?

What program could i use to rip music off of a cd & into mp3 format.

look for ''alto mp3 maker'', its on the internet.. u cant get the ful version for free, but its the only free evrsion ive found sofar that ripps a complete cd instead of a limited number of songs.

theres no vbr that high if you want something that goes that high (which is completely fucking asinine) get something that rips into FLAC which is lossless

Check out cdex (www.download.com) It's free, so freakin simple to use. Just stick the cd in there and click on button and off it goes! I think it might be able to do pretty high bit rates.

Why the hell not? I have a program that does it but you have to do the tracks seperately, and tag them yourself. So yes, there are programs that do that.

itunes does more than enough , use that! categorizes folders and stuff for you too

Hah I have a grudge against Itunes because my Iscrobbler always fucked up... I remember you giving me that Behemoth ep that was good... time to re-reinstall itunes.

I use ths program called 4Musics MP3 Bit Rate Changer. It will batch process as many mp3's bit rates to whatever you want, including 512.
