I posted this in the RTT but I feel proud.
Fuck, I had no ideal my amp could be that loud I got to get a cab that can handle more then 120W. Then I'll be even louder.
My concert went down with both cheers and hated. Seems some of my neighbors were asleep Within moments of me starting to play the "Midnight National Anthem" I about woke the dead. I'll be going around for the next few days telling everyone I woke up sorry, but it was worth it. It sounded like down town Bagdad here in Norfolk. Gun fire and fireworks everywhere. Seems a few people near here have full automatic weapons too
I felt like Henderix playing the Anthem at dawn during Woodstock, but I was playing it at midnight. A very different version; here in Norfolk, and most of all...

Last night I was at my friend's house, it was just the 2 of us, kinda borind. So we decide to call up another friend, and she arrived, following 2 or her friends. We got wasted, I passed out, woke up in my friend's brother's room at 6:00AM, went downstairs to the bathroom and as I was 'kissing the toilet' I realised I had a happy new year. Gorguts DVD 8-10-2005
There is news on the Gorguts front! In 2006 there is gonna be a live DVD and CD! To quote the site:
We are pround to announce that GWN will be releasing a GORGUTS DVD in 2006! Luc Lemay agreed on our terms and we are all pretty excited about this project. The DVD will include a concert filmed at the "Whiskey A Gogo" in Los Angeles, while the band was on tour for "Obscura". It will also includes tons of cool pictures and interviews with Luc and Steeve Hurdle... This is slated for a mid 2006 release; a lot of work has to be done... But to keep you on your toes for the DVD, we are also releasing a Live CD in early 2006... This concert was recorded in 1993 in Rotterdam, The Netherlands, during the band's only European tour. This has been circulating for a while now in the underground and Luc decided to make it officially available through GWN. T-shirts and hats will also be available to commemorate the release of both projects!

The weather was amazingly awesome too. There was a lot of snow, and the trees in the morning were an extremely beautiful sight. Where we were, was a large rustic house in the middle of the woods. The people were away, and the kid whose parents own the house had said we could use the empty house for our party. Nice guy. |
