Video playback problem, maybe someone can help me with

OK, so I just downloaded a full Opeth concert off of limewire. The filesize is correct for the amount of time a 45 minute video should be, but when i go to play it, it only plays for 29 seconds and stops. But the thing is all the data is there because if i click in the middle of the playback sometimes it goes to a further part in the concert. How can i get it to play the entire thing? Thanks

Try and open it in 'Power Cinema' - if you have it. I downloaded a porno with that problem once, well...with two pornos. 'Power Cinema' is a default DVD player that can open mpeg's, avi's etc.etc. But yeah, I opened on of the two annoying, non-playing all of the file pornos in Power Cinema and it worked...

Possible that it's a streaming video. Did you download an actual file? Or a "location?"
Or, you might just try downloading it again.

Well,

It might be a codec problem. Do you have the latest codec pack? How did you download it? Sometimes if you download a file and transmission fucks up just a piece, for videos, it causes the player to not play from that point on, hence how you can still see ahead when you seek.

If it was a codec problem it wouldn't play a portion of the file, it just wouldn't play...it'd tell you to go through countless amounts of webshites just to download it....for hours...and then have all other media rendered obsolete because you downloaded a codec that is hell bent on world domination, so your computer starts destroying itself and you tear your hair out because you can't download the porn file because the codec says torrents are evil...and then your girlfriend leaves you for some fuckin' lesbian....then you get a fine notice for downloading a codec that causes a nuclear war....

the video might have stopped because it could not handle an error that was in the video while downloading.
Its very possible that it will work with a different media player (try VLC media player, it handles almost anything) follow the link in my sig and click video dungeon. you will see the VLC media player download link.
