Anyone else think it would be cool to finally end the RTT for the new year? Any chance of going back to the 300 posts per RTT days?

actually, i think the only reason there ever was a 300 post limit was because there used to be a problem with the page after the thread passed 300 or so. i could be wrong, but i very faintly remember it having something to do with that.

I totally agree..it's kind of annoying, going back to all these insane high pages trying to guess which one you read last.

Correct. Whatever software nomad used for a forum back in the atmetal days became unstable, or something of the sort, after 300 posts. It was more of a tradition thing that carried over to metaltabs to close threads that exceeded 300 posts. There is no need for this any more, and I don't see the point in enforcing that rule again. People used to bitch about it, anyway. It'll stay how it is. |
