I ask that you pay your (un-owed) respects
I just ask that you pay some respects, that you do not owe, to someone you don't know.
A true metal brother died today. A true metal soldier, a legend on the field.
He was recluse, and he was agoraphobic. But he was the best guitarist I have ever personally seen face to face and watched. He was amazing. His name was Rick Degomoise, he had a troubled existence, you could tell there were demons in his head. He died this morning of heart failure, however the cause of the heart attack is still un-known. It's not hard to guess that if you lead a life of alcohol and drugs it will catch up with you sooner.
He was a dreamer and he was a terrific songrwriter, he pulled off some Anata fast riffs and stellar leads matched not even by half the death metal bands you have ever heard.
He had a hard life, never had any family and lived in the attic of his sisters house. But he was a legend, a guitar fiend, and as good as you could expect any friend to be, he would do anything for you, but he was firm in his own oppinion.
I had the pleasure of meeting and befriending Rick this year and spent alot of time playing and singing in his band for him. I only wish I had met him sooner.

dude, thats hard. im so scared of heart failure. sometimes my heart starts pausing and i get dizzy. or if i run even a little, it goes crazy. i drink a lot, and reading this scares me more. sorry for your loss. this is tragic. i hope he is in a better place than all of us now.
