Yeah, Saint's Row is great. I got it yesterday. I've completed all the Vice King missions and I'm now taking on The Carnales. About 10 hours in, 25% completed.
Have you tried those insurance fraud missions monkey? They're a blast.

I've finally beat both the GDI campaign and Nod campaign on Tiberian Sun; Firestorm. All I ened to do is beat the Nod campaign on the original Tiberian Sun and then.... well, nothing.

Whew, just beat Saint's Row. Extremely enjoyable, but the ending was quite anti-climactic. It would've been better if you had died during a massive shootout, not blown apart in a boat explosion. That's assuming your character does die...
About Troy being an undercover officer, absolutely no surprise there. The game manual mentions an undercover cop who's infiltrated a gang, and it was obvious that it was Troy from the way he acted and the things he said. Would've been better if they had Johnny Gat or Dex be the undercover officer, now that would've been a surprise.

the official release date for the wii has been set for 19.11.06. i wasn't going to get one at first because the whole remote thing seemed like a stupid idea. but i was seduced. legend of zelda, here i cum.

I'll probably get a Wii before anything else, simply because of the price. But my plan is to buy a ps3 and xbox360 whenever I have the cash to do so.

I heard a million aroudn the world if i'm not mistaken. I read an article recently about comparing them and it made a pretty good case against the ps3. Basically it appears that they are mainly riding on the fact they'll have an affordable blue ray disc player.
I don't see myself gettinga ps3 for... a long time. They can take that price and shove it up their ass. I'm not going ot pay that or anything REMOTELY that high in price. I'll get the Wii have more fun.

I just can't see owning a 360 just for the pure fact nearly all the games are on a PC. Except pc has better possibilities all around. (controls and so on)
And i highly dont trust the xbox products. Almost every single xbox i've ever seen has had problems with it and it had no longer worked. (not talking about the 360)
have a hard time believeing they fixed THAT massive of a "bug" But i dunno.

Yous till won't get one. You will have to preorder it the fucking MOMENT they allow preordering... then you'll get it months later. thats what happened with 360s. I knew a guy that was like 3rd in line and waited like 2 or 3 months ot get it. (mostly because the first person bought like 15 of them).

haha sheesh i was supposed to get the 360 for xmas last year, and didn't get it until my birthday [march 8th]. but i thought that was because my parents didn't preorder it. do you know when they're going to start taking preorders? gamestop says they aren't going to at all....what stores will?

I like either Mobile Suit Gundam: Federation Vs Zeon or Encounters in Space. Zeonic Front was good, but trying to get the certain ranks in all the missions was hard.

alright, i'm just slighty obsessive. i thought they would've started reserving by now, though. i worked at gamestop last summer, and we were taking reserves for the 360 back in early august before i quit [so i could do well in my studies ]. but i'll keep an eye out. and stalk best buy or something. danke!

You know thats actually a really good point. You pay for this "amazing" system with rediculous graphics but can barely be viewed by the majority of tvs. HDTVs are NOT that cheap. Especially as cheap as game companies are attempting ot think they are. I think the Wii is playing this one a little smarter.

This is definately one large step closer to where it becomes more life like. I'm sure there will be some bugs and kinks to work out with the methods of making video games reach fuller potiential. I definately have the support for the Wii's commitment to pushing games further. Although i'm definately a person that kind of likes rehashing the same "good stuff", maybe its time we had a revolution....?haha Pun intended..

Adding to what i said earlier this week about xboxs. My sisters boyfriend just told me the EXACT same thign happened to his xbox. It worked for about 6 months then crapped out. They are a piece just pure shit.

It depends. If you've got a high-end PC, Oblivion looks better than it does on the Xbox. If you've got anything lower than that, Oblivion on the Xbox looks a lot better. Apart from that, the two versions are exactly the same.

I have Oblivion and Saint's Row and original Xbox stuff like Halo 2, Deus Ex 2, other random stuff, even all the GTAs... but who here has played Harvest Moon: Back to Nature?!
In 6th grade I got so obsessed with that game, it is unbelievable. I swear I have never had a better time playing a video game. I even bought Magical Melody but then the 360 came out and I got distracted.
I wish I could be a farmer who lives in a town no larger than 1 square mile and hook up with random girls by giving them Bamboo shoots.

I am in this EXACT situation. other than the fact that my Morrowind playing ended a while back when the game fucked up. to sum it up, i needed to talk to this lady in Vivec, but i couldnt get the connection between the charactors for the life of me. she was standing right next to someone else, and no matter what angle, what distance, what button... i COULD NOT GET MY CHARACTER TO TALK TO HER! must have been a mistake in the game? i mean, i could see her name written above her head, but everytime id push to speak, i would end up talking to the person directly to the side of her. 100% crap. |

According to me and critics it sure is a hell of a lot better than Morrowind.
A 9.5 average among the first 12 mag/web reviews it got is pretty damn impressive and convincing... and true. (imo)

oblivion is better graphically and has some really nice touches but i cant seem to get into it like i did morrowind. maybe im just growing out of it but i cant play it like i did morrowind.

I think I am reaching the end of Resident Evil 4 now. It is amazing, an excellent, excellent game. One of the goreist I have seen so far.

i never even beat it because 1. i always have a ton of other stuff to do, depending on the season, and 2. i like the shotgun too damn much. #1 is a big reason why i haven't had much time to pick up a game since classes started this fall.
