whats a good amp i should get to play all kinds of music thats under 400 dollars.

Well this way if you ask on here first when you go down to the music store you know what you're looking for. Or you could just call down there and ask if they have it and if not you call the next store.

No offense to you or anything, but I'm guessing you're a beginner. Tell us what kind of sounds you're going after, and if you have any effects, what guitar, etc. and then we can work from there. |

well i want 1 w/ some distortion and other effects, or a preyy cheap half stack i might be able to get 200 dollars more to buy a better amp im a middle beginer id say

Line 6 has good gear, and i like there Distortion things, you know "Clean, Crunch, Metal and Insane". i saw a pretty nice one at the local music store, but it was only 30 watts. theres a bigger version though

im not sure the price, but the 15 watt was 260$ Canadian, so depending on where you are, it could be more than your budjet

Crate FXT120 2x12 is pretty good for the money. about 400 when I got mine. I know you said you don't dig Crate too much, but it does give you some good distortion.

I think you can get a Line 6 flextone 1x12 for about $500. It's not insanely good or anything, but the dist. is okay if you've got a decent guitar, plus it's got buncha other amp simulations and effects to play around with. It's better than any spyder too.

I have an Ibanez SoundBlaster 50R...only 50 watts...but I like the sound
is a sample...guitar is a Jackson Stealth EX with Seymour Duncan JB here they run like 200-250 i think? I forget. |
