sheet music
just looking for some help on finding actual sheet music and not just tabs for any goth metal bands. ***Particularly ones with a violin*** , as i myself play the violin. I have searched everywhere online and have come up completely dry for bands such as Haggard.
Haggard, Seraphim, Nightwish, Therion, Epica, Vision of Atlantis, Stratovarius, Theatre of Tragedy, Apocalyptica ........ are some of my favorites... but really any advice/ actual sheet music.... you have to offer is appreciated..
thanks

Haha, your name sucks.
But seriously, you will not be well received here with a post like that. And your low post count does not help your situation.

everyone starts at the bottom, sorry. I grew up poor and worked my way up, so perhaps i can do the same on this site. I asked for help, not to be picked on like a 3rd grader. If you don't want to help me when you can b/c somehow i don't 'fit in', then just don't help. And i am in no way starting an arguement. For the world to be nice, it's people must be first. Thanks

I don't know where you could find sheet music for these bands but I'd think that there'd be an abuncance for Apocalyptica.
As for everyone else I don't see any reason to pick on him. He didn't mention the unmentionable(emo/screamo/nu metal) and he wasn't a prick.

i have been to lots of music shops and have searched the internet for a few months now. I have found some but not much. I would not put a post up unless i had tapped commen sense dry. Unfortunately, all the spotlight gets put on other, lesser genre's of music and so what i am looking for is obviously scarce.
Actually, i am so dedicated that for the past 3 months i had to learn to read guitar tabs(not hard obviously) and just translated them into single notes where there were chords and just spent a lot of evenings figuring out how it will be compatible on my violin. Maybe one day when i have enough songs figured out i'll post my progress online.
thanks again.
and i don't blame you for being rude. Its human nature. You feel like you have accomplished something by being dedicated to this site for so long and here i come, some new guy trying to ask for all the benefits and help that you have earned and therefore deserve. etc etc. What is important is that we all listen to and love the same music. Don't lose sight.

use Powertab. It has the tablature and stave-music.
Find some Power-Tab by one of the bands you have stated - download it - have fun
only thing I can suggest before this probably gets closed.

You've got a real niche market with that kind of stuff. The problem is that I doubt many of those bands publish their own sheet music, which means that either people transcribe the parts or, like you, go begging.
Check merch pages from all the official band sites, just in case. If no love, then I doubt anyone here will known anything that can help you.

well they have to score the music don't they, for copyright laws and shit. so the sheet music should exist. i think.

I think that at least in the States and Canada all you need is a recording. Anything that anyone does here that's original is considered copyrighted. The problem comes with forums that have meltdowns periodically like the other one I'm on. I won't go into those legal details though.
I don't have that sheet music, but if anyone is interested in older sheet music circa 70's I've got a lot.
And no, I saw no reason for rudeness either.

I've got a friend who's a violinist as well as guitarist. I'll ask him if he's got any ideas where you might find something.

I was trying to with my suggestion, though - I suppose it doesn't matter if all he is doing is reading the music.

Well, dude, if there's particulars you're after pm me. My friend is getting a tattoo right now, but he asked me what songs in particular. Just pm me and we'll figure something out.
