I have a Creative Zen Touch with 20 gb and the sound quality is much better than an iPod.

the newer ipods have better sound quality...i have an older gen one and it sucks, the bass is shite and the battery now lasts max 2hrs.
but i still love it, goes EVERYWHERE with me.

An iPod can have the same exact sound quailty as that. You just have to change the bit rate.
