Firefox problem
The other day I opened firefox but it always closed and there came up some Netscape something window.
Then a little later I tryed to open it again and then there came some window where it told me to choose some "default" or "something I can't remember" and I couldn't choose default so I chose the other one. Now all of my bookmarks and everything is gone and I don't know how to get it back.
This has happened before but I don't remember what I was supposed to do so if anyone knows I'd really appreciate the help

It sounds like you've switched which profile is in use, i can't recall how to switch profiles though, i just use the default Try restarting possibly, and it may bring the selection box up again.

Yea,
You switched profiles. If it happens again, just hit Ctrl + Alt + Del and kill the instance of firefox.exe running, and it set it back to default. It happens when your browser crashes, but is still running.

Open up a command prompt (start >> run >> command), type cd \ then hit enter
then type cd program files\mozilla firefox, hit enter, then type firefox -p, hit enter, and delete the profile you created.

I have a better problem!!!
When I close 1 of the windows it crashes all the other windows so links don't work, nor can you change tabs or access the menu!!
Its quite frustrating.

Hmmm,
Sounds like you got Windows (os) problems... Can you maybe better describe the behavior? Is it just the browser that crashes?

It probably is a XP problem, its about time to reinstall windows, but I can not really be bothered.

hey I've got another problem for you!
Firefox is giving me shit again, everytime I open it it stays opend for a few seconds and then there comes a window "firefox.exe has encoutered a preoblem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience" and then some other text and I can choose between "send error report" or "don't send" I always choose don't send.
I also get a window that says "Netscape Quality Feedback Agent - Firefox 10" and that has some options which are "send" "don't send or "show details", I always choose don't send. Then firefox crashes.

That sounds like some sort of windows error. Sounds like firefox is conflicting with something else, maybe another browser? Do you have netscape browser on your comp as well? Make sure firefox is set to be the default browser.
