I've just let old accounts at sites I haven't visited drift into the land of the lost.
A friend of mine was going to leave another site and he had to manually go to each of his posts and delete them to do it himself. He ended up changing his mind later, but he still had the acoount.
If you've posted tabs or info that might help someone I'd just leave it alone. That's just my opinion. And besides if you decide to pop in you still can.
Hope you do well whatever you're doing.
