Man, I wished I could come up with something on the last minute, but to no avail.
Eveyone made some nice riffs, but your recording quality sucks ass man.
I like Infinities track the most, but it probably has the worst sound quality.
All you peeps need to lay of the gain a bit when recording.. especialy when using direct-input.

It was between Amon Ra and DeathCS. I am choosing DeathCs' because Amon incorporates WAAAAY too much pinch harmonic which just seems to kill the rest of it. Also, the whammy bar "kerry king-look-at-me-I'm-a-whore shit at the end" kills it. I personally could not outdo his soloing, which some of you have and most of you don't. Some of you need to figure out what a melody is, or at least do chromatic shreds... Work out your recording/tone, amon. I feel like an asshole now. its still good.

I like Amon and Deaths both the most, Infinitys was also pretty good as well. All incorporate great techniques and have pretty good sound. It was literally a flip of the coin for me. Wish I woulda got in on this.

dont feel bad little man. without constructive critisism, there is no improvement. if i had spent the best part of my life comeing up with that, spent lots of time and money to record it, thought it was the best thing since sliced bread and everyone said, "thats shit cause it sucks" i would be offended.
to be honest, what i entered was a reject from real life. i thought it lacked an awful lot of stuff, but then i didnt put too much effort into it.
@ everyone: obviously i cant enter these, but they are something which ive done with a bit more effort. be critical.

I'm going with Slabbe's because I think there's more potentional for the lead to shine with his. It's got a nice balance to it. The others were very good, but some seemed like a lead would hide them more and some seemed to need a bit more beef.

cool, i actually thought milk has a brilliant lead, but with way too much reverb, and it kind of dies out at the end.
in pizza box, its just a very shabby performance of the solo, accompanied with a terrible tone. actually most of it is legato. what do you mean by a kick?
your other comments on pizzabox have me confused though, i dont think you meant 1:36? and im not gonna pretend i understand the metallica thing.

in mozilla, right click and press "save link as..." you should then be able to download it right to your desktop if you want. and it will give you a box telling you how much youve done. if it says youve got less than 2.55 mb, which just took me 55 seconds, then you havent got the whole thing. and it worked fine.
i dont know what to tell you otherwise.
i suppose i could email it?
