Nile - Unas Slayer Of The Gods

Nile have a lot of acoustic/ethnic stuff on their albums. In fact just buy all of Nile's albums now, you won't be disappointed.

What he said. And Woods Of Ypres owns. My only gripe with that entire CD is that "The Looming Of Dust..." wasn't longer. One of the coolest doom riffs I've ever heard, and its a two minute intro. FUCK.

By the way, I've got real AIM now, so if you want anything (like the new Dark Suns if you didn't get it), I'll send it to you.

I got it a while back. I liked it a lot at first, but after a bunch of listens it gets boring. Hopefully they'll go back to their roots on the next album.

Enter Sandman? Heavy? nawww....

lots of megadeth has acoustics in them, (A Tout Le Monde, 99 Ways To Die, Holy Wars, etc...) some Martyr, Satch and Steve Vai, the old school obvious ones (Zep, Sabbath, etc...)... that should be enough for now...

You describe everything as absolutely amazing when you first get it...maybe I shouldn't trust your musical judgement anymore.

I can't believe no one's mentioned this yet, but anyway:
Metallica - One, Battery

Also, Iced Earth - Melancholy, Phantom of the Opera, (really nice accoustic passage in the second half of the song, also nice duet, does anyone know who the chick singer is?)

Also, I didn't know Slayer had songs with accoustic or even clean electric passages. I'll have to check those out.
