I don't recall him eating or having anyone eat'in by anyone else in his last movie. I do wish he had done a cameo but it is his film so he will do as he damn well pleases, I suppose.

Rob always wanted to be a movie director/writer/maker since he was a kid. Music was not his love as much as horror movies. He only brought horror/sci fie to his music

I was really expecting rob to be acting in the first one. I was really surprised that he didn't do one pof the parts, even if it's a small part like Dr. Satan or the Professor. I'm anxious to see the new one as well too--the dude's got a beard now haha.

I think Rob just wanted to have a movie that didn't carry so much of his music character reputation into the movie. He did write the soundtrack but I feel he was more then qualified of doing it.

Perhaps he is shy of being immoralized on a movie?

Yeah when I first saw House of 1000 Corpses I thought Rob'd be in it, but I was wrong. That movie kicked ass, I have to get it on DVD. Dude that's kickass, I didn't know there was a second one coming out. I have to see it!

Forgive me for bring this thread back but I want to post about this movie and starting another thread about it is dumb when there is this one.

I never got to go see it in the theater, due to many reason, but I did just rent it....

I really was shocked I don't know how the first one got banned from theaters but this one didn't. This movie was fucking disturbing. Just fucking sick, but it also was beautiful at times that made you forget what some of these characters had done eariler.

The ending... wow!

I didn't know what to say after I seen it. All I know is that Rob can write and direct movies with the best. I also watched the movie with the directors commentery, something I have never done before, just to know why/what the fuck he was thinking during the making of the movie.

I learned he shot the movie in 29 days with a BS budget. I also learn other things about what happened to Dr Satan. I don't know many movies that get shot in 29 days. Thats fucking crazy! I think the movie company people didn't think he could make a quality movie in 29 days, just because they don't like Robs dream of movies. Well, this one made it to the movies and was 7x more upsetting then the last. He would just drive around and find places that he wanted to shot the movie at and ask the people that live there if he could. Then he would bring the cameras and the actors and shoot. Not much was staged in a studio and that is why it looks so good as a movie. Most of it was shot in real places where real people live right now. Rob didn't let them clean up of anything before the shoot. Movie turned out to be like 3 hours long but he had to edit it down to 1 hr 40 min.

I hope there is a directors cut someday.

Just a warning not to watch it with any girl. There is a very strong and visual rape scene. Mrs. Soul just about cried and didn't watch the rest of the movie. THIS IS NOT A FAMILY TIME MOVIE!!! I didn't know what to think. It was fucked beyond belief, but... I have to say it is actually beautiful in contrast at parts. You just have to watch to understand.

I give it a #1 for this years movie by far.

Reservoir Dogs was shot in 2 weeks and thats one of my favourite movies. I'll have to see Devils Rejects though. I had strong intention to but I keep getting side tracked and forgetting that its out now. Darn A.D.D.

I saw it. I didn't really feel like laughing while watching this film, but when the main guy showed the girl in the motel the face mask, and started talking with it, I cracked up. It was generally a disgusting movie. I won't say it was bad though.

I saw it in the theaters the day it came out months ago--I thought is was a rather fucking dumb movie. Besides the fact that sequals are always inferior films, this sequel--like most--had pratically nothing to do with the first one, which was awesome as fuck.

That rape scene was well over-done. It was cool for the first couple of minutes, but then it just fucking dragged on, and then it got perverted. Not awesome sex with corpses perverted, just 13 year old "I wanna poke a pussy with my finger" perverted. And I won't give it away, but rob used some of the exact same humor from the first film. It was so out of placed, that I feel like it was stolen....

I laughed at only one part in the whole movie--and I'm sure everyone else would agree with me--and that was the car ride. Hahahaha, that was fucking hilarious.

but I'll stop here, so I don't go on and tell more of the movie scenes....

The most brutal movie i have ever seen...

The ending was weird for me too. Very powerful and a movie classic for me. I kept trying to remember what they had done to other people and why they were in this situation but I felt sad for them too. The memories of their family seemed innocent and happy.

Zombie should make more movies. He should just quit music and stay with what he likes best. MOVIES! That is what he has always wanted to do. He would always bring the movies into his music, but you really have to know those movies in order to understand his music better. Thing is, most people didn't know those movies and I think it might have seemed like mindless movies inserts in his music to most people.
