I had a dream the other night that these bird enthusiasts were trying to stalk and photo a rare green cardinal. (And I haven't seen the one in the commercial yet, but I've heard about it.) It was funny because i held my hand out to the tree it was on and it hopped on my finger. It sang a few minutes as I talked to it like I do my bird and then it climbed up to my shoulder and tucked it's head near my armpit and went to sleep like my first bird used to. They were amazed.
Then in the same dream I was siting at a little round table having a delightful conversation with Neil Diamond. I have no idea why other than he did or is doing a double show around here somewhere. I'm not a fan or anything and I have no idea what we were talking about but he had his longer hairstyle and was quite charming to talk to.
I know there was more to the dream but I don't remember any more of it anymore. I knew I should have written it down!

Once had a dream where i could only walk like i was on the moon. Went down stairs to find 4 lumps of meat on hook. I knew it was my family from the names carved into the wall behind them. Saw some guy in a baraclava run out the back so followed him to be punched to the ground and stabbed a lot of times.

At one point in my most recent bizarre lucid dream I was cross country skiing in tennis shoes over dry land at high speeds.

My weirdest one ever was a constantly recurring dream when I was 7 of being chased through the clothing department of a shopping mall by a vampire.

I don't have really fucked up dreams. I have alot of dreams set in the same imaginary place, but unconected apart from that. It's pretty cool, you start getting to know your way around, at least I do in the dreams. I cant remember the specifics when I'm awake, maybe I just dream I have been there alot of times.

I had alot of dreams in my mid teens set in the house in Austria I lived in when I was a toddler. I actually dreamt memories of when I was a kid, my mum and dad could remember all the things I dreamt. That was a bit strange.

I usually dream about some shit that I've done recently, like lately I started playing Halo again and I'm studying for an upcoming exam. Some how a dream about me killing aliens turned into an anatomy prac, looking at the bodies of dead marines.

Dreams after taking drugs are usually quite weird. After a night out on BZP, I dreamt that my friends and I were smoking a 1m long joint that was laced with PCP. Then appeared a massive line of people who wanted a toke.

A few weeks ago I had a fucking horrible cold and could barely sleep. My dreams were really violent.

I had an obvious black and white dream once long ago about gangsters like from the Capone era and they were shooting. Then a color commercial for laundry detergent came on and then it went back to the movie type dream. I woke up shortly after it triggered that there'd been a commercial. And no, the tv wasn't on.

I had one repeatedly for a week when I was staying in this house as a kid. I was walking out back behind my barn and I saw a wolf/coyote type animal walking on it's hind legs and wearing a shirt and shorts. The last time I had the dream was just a bit different because myself and a few others were having a picnic under the tree by the barn. Each time the animal would look over at me and keep walking I'd wake up shortly after. I was in elementary school when I had those dreams.

This dream hometown everyone spoke russian and it was during some festival and there were balloons.

I had this other dream that is recurring I have it like 1 times a year amd I'm in this forest where everything is black and there are these spider like things I break a twig and suddenly a cylindrical pipeline shape of round blue something bursts in and I get petrefied that I wake up and I can't speak because I'm so scared and last time I sleepwalked into the vanity room and woke up disoriented and crying and shit and so my parents ran out and are like "Whatta fuck?" and they couldn't get me back in my room cos I was still kinda like half asleep.

I had this other dream where I like was some sort of spy or seomthing I guess and there was this guard in an army uniform and I fucked her, but it was bad cos she was big and fat.

Oh yeah I had this dream that my mum chased down my dog and decapitated it with a hack saw.

I also had this dream! Where there was this square place, 4 corners and 2 of which were diagnolly opposite had niches you could hide in, now I was in one and someone else in the other. So, there is the massive dog runs forever and very fastly around around this island in the middle of the square circuit, don't move or the dog kill you, so I moved and the dog bite my throat and only half my throat was gone, and I like fellt the blood shooting out and shit, and I said, "Help get Noola" who is some fucking disgusting ugly weather lady back in the 90's on channel 7.

That reminds me of a dream I had which could possibly be connected but I only just realised now, there was this town where everyone was dead, well almost everyone. And so me and some friends walk in from out of town in our medievil armour and swords and shit, and find out that there is this giant wolf dog thing that terrorized the town all the time. So naturally we go to kill it. It's in this place, which is like a giant public toilets. But outside the actual building is a small maze. So anyway we went in through the maze into this giant toilets place, lots of tight corridors and in the middle is locker rooms, showers, toilets, it smells like urine. No dogs yet, but we get to the middle, we hear the dog, we fucking bolt back out, but it's fast and powerful, too fast, too massive, I killed my mum who was in battle gear. We make it out and into the maze, where I hide and it takes on my friend, but I get this knief and cut off his head and disembowel it and then it dies. Funnily enough, this giant wolf dog was called a 'Bordor'. And yes, in the dream it was even spelt that way.

I had a dream where I was in a AC from this game Armoured Core and I was doing missions.

I had a dream which I had a few times where I'm in a quite similar to Doom/Marathon game and there is always a feeling of vertigo, plus there are cliff drops and ledges everywhere.

I had a dream I was a scout and I had to enter a troll fortress but I scaled this 50 metre high wall. Nah that dream is gay.

i think the most awful and weird dream i have had was this.

i was standing in a blank area in the woods, lights dancing around me in the trees and a man in a cloak and top hat kept asking me why i was here.

You guys have fuckin' weird dreams really. I saw a dream where I was standing in other side of the river. At the other side the river suddenly a lightning hit in a tree. Last night i dreamt there was a party, and i was there with 2 mates, isaac and david, and then left for some reason but were gonna return. 2 of my friends (khalia and karlina) were supposd to be arriving at the party.

So me, dave and isaac friends went wherever we went And ended up stealing my mates gold mini to drive back, we jsut sorta did it then realised he might be pissed.

Anyway, got back to the party, khalia and karlina were both asleep, lazy bitches.
The party was across the road from casinos, im sure that it was the city in Grand Theft Auto san andreas whith all the casinos.

i love dreams. i remember waaaaaaaaay to many to post here. but heres one from a while back.

I was at a fair with a girl. Ive never seen her in real life though. I believe we were in love. She was beautiful and i was happy. We walked through the fair for a while. I won her a stuffed bear, how typical. We walked to the end of the fair lights and out of the area. I looked up and the sky was flooded with altocumulus clouds. The sun had already fallen out of sight but for some reason it cast brilliant purple and green lights on the clouds. this is probably the most beautiful thing ive ever seen, and i think it was inspired from the game Morrowind's atmosphere. Strangely, the girl thought it looked normal. I also spotted some sort of walkway at least 1500 ft up. it lead to a very futuristic looking building in the sky. as we continued walking we approached a large house. we snuck past the windows where we saw people, and she went inside. somehow i knew to climb this tree and she let me in the window. the room was dim and lit with candles. we kissed. i knew it was a dream and i told her i never wanted to wake up. she looked confused and asked me what i was talking about. i told her i knew it was a dream, and that i didnt want to wake up. then she looked scared and said "why are you saying this". a tear fell from her eye, and everything around me started fading. everything around me dissapeared, including her, and i was floating in infinate darkness. there were no lights, just pitch black. i woke up soon after and started to laugh a little, but seconds after my eyes got watery and i was really sad.

Nope with the exception of the altocumulus clouds I thought it was pretty cool. It was rather poetic in description and I think you could take elements in that and do a poem/lyric from the ideas in it. I'm glad you added the info about how you felt when you woke up. Those are some of the dreams that have stuck with me most are the ones that really pack an emotional wallop.

heres a good one. i passed out on my couch, had a dream im at a 4th of july party, its during the day and my family and hometown friends and thier families are at this party. so theres music going, DJs and such. so this really bad song begins, very lame techno and everyone there is like "what the fuck?" so i go up to a old roomate of mine at this party whos a DJ<techno DJ in real life> and i ask him "who put on that song" and he says "i dont know but ill go check and change that shit" so he leaves and i say to another friend "man its funny, like at a live show people usually stick it out if a bad band comes on, but here everyone seemed to bum out to this horrible song" met with the reply "yeah i know,man this song sucks" OK so i wake up and hear the same song BLASTING from my neighbors space. horrible techno.....................its still going on now, that ruled

Once, I had a dream my current girlfriend was going to leave me. Now, I love her very much, and I don't know why I'd dream this. In it, I remember her saying to me about three hours before something about going to the store. I can't remember what it was. Then three hours later, she called me, screamed at me, told me I wasn't good enough, and said she was leaving me. Later in that day, she said those fateful words that were in my dream, and it was almost exactly as in my dream. This scared me.......SHITLESS!! Then she had to go. I was so worried. Three hours later, she called me. She was upset. But, she started telling me about how much she missed me, and how she wants me to be with her forever, and how good I am for her. That was a relief.......but, it made me realize I have a truly great person who I have great potential with, and I'm not going to lose that.

I had this dream not too long ago..

I was at church.. (my parents make me go, and i can't tell them I'm an atheist cause they'll tell my grandparents who I love..) anyways the masswas ending, and there was this girl.. she grabbed my hand and we ran away near a beach with a boardwalk.. yes, haha, i once screwed this girl in a dream who i have never seen before. most of the time when i tell someone they are in my dream, they usually say "i know". i used to have loooong dreams. realizing you are in a dream is probably the most amazing thing, IMO. i was once in a classroom and realized it was a dream so i got up, told the teacher to fuck off, then i went around the other classes seeing how many of the hot girls i could kiss. that was quite strange though. ive also tried to teach people how to fly in some of my dreams. but when i start thinking about it too much, i cant fly very well, just slightly levitate. and when i used to be in the middle of a nightmare, as a kid, i would simply lift my eyelids up in my dream, and id wake up.

I was at the gasoline station about to pump some gas. I remember starting the pump and setting the latch because I didn't want to hold it.

Well, I got distracted by something in my dream world for what seemed like 10 minutes. Nothing really importent, by all of a sudden the dream became a nightmare from Hell.

I was pumping gas into my car last I remembered... and I had the latch set... and gas prices... OMFG!

I started to run back to my car but had one of those movie moments.

You know in the movies when the hero suddenly realizes something and the camera zooms into his face while the background zooms far away?

I'm here to tell you that it feels very weird.

I got back to the car to see that gas was still being pumped into my car and that the price was up to $700+

I shut the pump off with only 3/4 a tank of gas in the car.

I know I was supposed to be careful while pumping the gas because I still had to pay bills.

I then realized I had to tell "THAT WHO MUST BE OBAYED", Darth Wife, of what had happened but I could already hear the machanical breathing and my throat being choked by and invisable force. *insert Imerical March music*

Next thing I know, I wake up in panic and look over at sleeping, pregnant Mrs soulinsane.

I had a dream the other night that me and all my mates were at a tool concert

And i got called up on stage and got to sing with Maynard. And i was good at singing

What an awesome dream.

Dreams like that are the shit, then you wake up all like fuck yeah!

oh shit i just remembered a freaky one, i was at this random park, and there were these rapper-gangster kids there, and we got into a fight and one knoked me over, but i couldnt get up, and my back started hurting REALLY BAD, like "fuck im dying" without the relief at the end part then i woke up and i was sleeping on a thumb tac... well, after readin that, i feel like an idiot, but it was freaky at the time...

THIS was fukking weird.....I saw a dream that I was sleeping in my bed. Suddenly there was a good-looking chick playing a Jackson V and saying that my Jackson is made of plastic!!!! But I can forgive her because she was so fukking good looking...

I'd forgotten about the part of one I remembered when I woke up this morning. I don't know what else was going on in the dream, but Denny pointed over to my stove and there was 3 of those plastic tubs that strawberries and blueberries come in. Each had a piece of blueberry pie in them and he said I could have one. Blueberry is my favorite so I was all happy as I picked it up. But damn it! He started snoring loud for real and woke me up before I ever got one bite! It was about 5:30 and i couldn't go back to sleep so when he woke up at 6 I yelled at him for not letting me have my pie!

hah, i had something like that. i was running from this guy who was shooting at me with a gun. of coarse i was running super fucking slow no matter how hard i tried. anyway, i knew this one bullet was flying right towards my head. i opened my eyes and woke up, and right when i woke up the back of my head hit the bed post. its as if i knew i would hit my head so i dreamt a bullet about to.

well, last night was the worst nights NOT to know i was dreaming. one of the hottest girls from my highschool was in my house. ...if only i had known i was dreaming

I dreamt that I was watching some kids playing with with fireworks. They were blowing stuff up and then one of the kids stuck a match behind one of the others and the kid just flew in the air with a "WIIIIIIIEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE" and smashed into a house and died. Then the dream ended.

For some reason that makes me think of Jackass...
I had one not merely scary but downright tedious a couple of years ago. Night after night I would dream that I was visiting some old relative in some sort of old folks home, when suddenly something horrible appeared. (Don't ask me what though) Everyone started to flee, myself I first tried to hide behind a rocking chair but soon feelt too exposed and started running as well. Through room after corridor after room I would flee alone, except for the thing hot at my heels. This went on and on for almost two weeks - though I dropped the rocking chair routine after a few days - until one night, when I simply grew tired of it all. So I turned around. After that I never had the dream again.
