I have seen a stolen tab on MySongBook,MY Lashed To The SlaveStick GP.
I cannot complain to the MSB staff on this matter,because I can`t sign up due to stupid email qualifications.
The guy goes under the name Brutal Man,and he gave the credit to himself.

So if anyone has a MSB account,it would be very much appreciated if you contacted the staff and told them about it.

I don't think you need to be a member to contact the admin staff.

Have you tried emailing the guy who stole your tab? Threaten him with informing the administrators of his wrongdoing and he may see sense.

At Mxtabs all of my Amon Amarth tabs were stolen and they got taken off as soon as I sent a letter to the admins. I respect them. Just hope for the best.

Two of my My Dying Bride ASCII tabs appeared as Guitar Pro tabs on MySongBook, and both times I was shocked to learn that the culprit saw no harm in taking a man's ASCII tab and typing it into Guitar Pro. They were amazed that I was pissed with them lol. But, thanks to MetalTabs I was able to prove pretty easily that I was the original author, because of the fact that when you submit a tab here the date and time are attached in alongside the file in a new thread in the forum (in the Pending Tabs section), which is all you need to prove you had the tab first. It's a great feature of MetalTabs when you think about it in those terms! I'm not sure how long tabs remain in the pending tabs list after being accepted, but it worked for me. Although the tabs were never removed (I didn't ask for them to be removed) it was made clear that each tab was copied, and that I was the original author - which was good enough for me. But if you wanted to take it further you could do so with the pending tabs threads

I think it's pretty disgraceful that MSB don't take these matters more seriously. Especially when our tabs are copied note for note! We should start a "Plaigerism" thread and post the names and email addresses of everyone who's ever screwed us over, then we can all take turns submitting their details to animal porn sites (Finally I'll have an excuse to go watch some goat-fuckin'! Yooo!)
