im a stupid kid that needs help with homework... what do i do? come to metaltabs!!!


i was given this valedictorian speech to do for french class (im not the valedictorian by the way, and i go to a french school)
ive never done this before and i dont know what to write...

Take from an old lady, that's what the rest of life is gonna be like. Think about a few friends you've had throughout the years or one teacher that you really learned a lot from or turned your head around and made you like a subject more. Don't try to conglomerate them all together. It will be too discouraging.

If you see a quote you like, use it, if you don't then don't. When my youngest graduated the speech the kid gave was hysterical. He was a class clown and ragged on students, teachers, and other staff. The place was in stitches. When he walked out and took the microphone, walked to the edge of the stage and sat down with his legs hanging over we knew something was up. I knew the kid and his dad so I was prepared. I dont' suggest you do it that way necessarily, but use your imagination and lie if you have to.

HA HA HA! yeah ive seen this done before. i remember i was at the neighbor kids graduation from pre-school. i was babysitting for their family at the time so i went with them. during thier graduation at the park, my freinds drove by yelling and cursing out loud, with an air horn mooning me and the little kids. ho ho, that was funny but traumatizing.

Mention shit about your favourite teachers, how they helped you with subjects you were struggling on, say thanks to them and to the headmaster, mention funny events, put in some witty anecdotes, etc etc. Basically bullshit your way through. Aw, dont' be that way. It's good to speak in public once in awhile and get comfortable with it. Trust me. My first few times I really spoke up in a class environment I could feel my face and ears glowing, but I did it to overcome some insecurities. Sort of taking the bull by the horns. And that was just a couple years ago. I read a poem that a friend wrote (with his permission) about an abused child in my Youth Leadership/Childcare Worker class.
