The Metal Wall
(Heh. You probably wondered what the hell this thread was about when you read the confusing title. Well, as bored as I am and as slow as metaltabs has been moving lately, I thought I'd bring up a new new thread on yet another stupid idea...)
Although I've never seen the film, in 1982 Pink Floyd made a movie called "The Wall". If I am correct, the movie was a visualization of their album The Wall. It was like a trippy movie that used their music as the score, right? Like one long music video. Anyway, here's the topic: What metal album would you like to see made into a movie?

Wow...you have never seen The Wall?
I have seen it....without exaggeration...perhaps 20 times.
And of those 20 times I prob saw it at least 15 while on some very wicked LSD.
That movie is perhaps one of the best "tripping" films of all times.
Also...Led Zepplins "The Song Remains The Same" is also a wonderful film and is even better under chemical influance.
The Doors "Dance On Fire" is another.....even if you're not a great fan....the films are so diff and amazing....def worth a look.
These are the advantages of having a sister 14 years older and no parents as a teen.
Dont misunderstand....I'd prefer my parents were around....but that is the reality of the cards delt in my life.
Too bad Iron Maiden never did a film in the spirit of those films.

"V.I.T.R.I.O.L".....(is that right?)
"Tara"
or......an album by the rolling stones done by Luke Kenny or Aphex Twin...

Oh! Pain of Salvation- "Entropia", "The Perfect Element" (when the second part is finished), and "BE". There is already a BE dvd, but it's just the original stage production.

Stratovarius - Elements Pt 1 (Only to see how gay it will come out....Eagle Heart)
There was a cartoon type trippy movie with older metal to it. I think was called Heavy Metal. I found it rather enjoyable.
But seriously I would have to say that Arch Enemy - Wages Of Sin would make a great flick.
I actually was going to do one based off of damnation by Opeth
And of course - Vital Remains - dechristianize. I just would like to see how the first track would go. Im not a big fan of their music but I love the song Dechristianize

Yeah, buddy! I've got Sam Goody's sub from their display hanging on Bob's wall. Awesome movie. "I've got a hole in me pocket."
I haven't seen it, but I've heard if you start Wizard of Oz and Dark Side of the Moon they fit together.
I really don't know which I'd want because sometimes it takes away from the imagination. Not always, but I'd hate to have an album ruined for me because I'd keep thinking of the movie.

Queensryche already did this and it was gay.
The Wall is a pretty shatty film IMO. Pink Floyd's "Live at Pompeii" is the ultimate music video so far.
I would like to see a movie made out of Death's "Spiritual Healing" album. The lyrical imagery is all ready for video and as usual it's all about death, so I guess that qualifies as a concept...

Some Cock and Ball Torture. Or some Gut.
On a more serious note. Morbid Angel, or Obituary!

I think that Arcturus - La Masquerade Infernale(or Aspera

Battles in The North by Immortal maybe?
Imagine how grim and frostbitten it would be!
Another good one would be Morbid Angel - Formulas
Fatal To The Flesh.

I think there is a movie but not a wall - type movie. There was an underground symphnic/black movie that this was the soundtrack to.

You are talking about La Masquerade Infernale right?
Do you know anything more about it?
Maybe you're mixing it with Ulver's Perdition City?
