If by famous, you mean currently doing the rounds through magazine society pages as a celebrity twatmunch, you can take one long fucking look without finding any metal fans.
There's a reason for this - we're ugly, we're stubborn, we're opinionated and we smell.
With the exception of Jim Carrey (who got famous acting like a freak in the first place), the only famous people who like metal are people who got famous playing it.

Doogie Howser had a Rigor Mortis sticker on his corkboard during the intro to that crap-ass show, but I'm not sure if that was the actor's doing. Corey Feldman (or is it Haim?) is in a crappy metal band with kind of a Queensryche type approach. Howard Stern, but he has fairly shitty taste in metal. Jim Breuer from Half Baked.
Have you seen the edited for TV version of Ace Ventura where they inserted extra seens of Jim Carrey singing on stage with Cannibal Corpse?  It's the funniest shit ever and I can't believe they cut it out of the original. It's not even on the "special" DVD. |
