Looks pretty real to me. The muzzle flash is real and just looks weird because of the way a low light video camera works. The kick of the guns when fired is definitely real looking and blanks do not induce that much kick. The body language and behavior of the two retards is very real life looking and beyond the acting abilities of normal people IMO. The kicker for me is that the clerk is so panicked that he moves the body. No one would ever script in something that stupid. That's pure confusion and paranoia as far as I can tell. The way the clerk holds his pistol and the fact that he fought back in the first place to protect the small change of a crappy clothing store indicates that he is a troubled youth and might have a criminal record of his own, hence the paranoia and stupid behavior.

I doubt he's a teenager. Some of those flashes aren't even in front of the gun.....

No, the muzzle-flash is real, well at least looks to be from my limited experience (i've only fired a handgun once).

I guess what's hard to believe is that it happened recently - the 8th April, and how something like this can become readily available over the internet (I assume that's where you found it?) after only 9 days of the incident taking place.And have some guy put a shitty soundtrack to it.

I don't watch CCTV crime TV series, but I guess after such a short period of time, something like this wouldn't be possible to get. I mean, the shopkeeper shit the guy 3 times, isn't that 2nd degree murder or something? I don't think that's something the police spread over the internet. (Well maybe, it is America )

I would say that CCTV in a regular clothes shop tends to be of a lower framerate, and the colours are limited/not present, as it is unfeasable to store so much data on cassettes for such a small business.... however, that said, it could still be real, and i could be wrong, so thats all im a'gonna say I was gonna layer a Slayer track to it anyway, but Premier is being a bastard at present, so its not happening tonight :P

He didn't have anything in his hand except for a piece of paper he was reading. You'd be an idiot if you thought it was money, cause it's twice the size of a dollar bill and it flapped around like a sheet of paper not cloth(which is what money is). It also looked to me like he didn't know how to open the register without making a purchase.
Shit, guys, the first shot fired by the shopkeeper didn't even have a flash!! And the second one made by the shopkeeper wasn't even in front of the damn gun. In addition, the shot by the shopkeeper that took the guy down but not dead didn't have a flash either. When the guy was shot, he turned around and pushed shit off the cart.

...I'm wrong, and the flashes were put in by the same dumbass who put the soundtrack in it. But I doubt that.

This clip is both fake and gay. When the guy first pointed the gun at the clerk, the clerk's body language looked really rehearsed. And what's up with the muzzle flashes? First there are muzzle flashes, then there are none. I didn't see anyone put a silencer on a gun, so that can only mean one thing. FAKE, FAKE, FAKE, FAKE, FAKE, FAKE!!!!!!!!!!

Similar to "I Hate Nu Metal" my computer was auto-rebooting when I tried to export the final product with good quality audio, so this is the best I can get today with my "mad Magix Movie Edit Pro skillz".


After looking at the individual frames, the muzzle flashes are in fact fake because the date/time stamp of the camera has a shadow which would have been visible over the flashes even if the white was totally drowned out. I still maintain that these guys are outstanding actors for several reasons, the most impressive being the fact that on the first hit the clerks arm jerks back from "firing" on the exact same video frame that the robbers' body indicates being hit. The rest of the robbers' fall was questionable, as was the lack of blood on the carpet when dragged, but that and pretty much every other potential "evidence" of fakery noted so far is inclusive and based on biased assumptions with the exception of the muzzle flashes. Another fishy thing is the total lack of any apparent damage or product motion when the clerk fires and misses. I looked at some of the negative feedback on the website that hosted this and most people's reasons for it being fake were retarded. The dumbest by far being a lady who said that "A clothing store would not allow clerks to bring in a gun" or something to that effect. If that were true and if this wasn't in a crime ridden neighborhood, etc. the reality is that no clerk gives a shit about what they are not allowed to do. Most of the other complaints are pretty weak for similar reasons, but whatever, fake or not my version is better...

You didn't notice that before because it's an illusion created by the program I used to re-encode it. Only the flashes are superimposed on the original...

Another thing about the flashes is that if they were in fact due to saturation of a low light day/night security camera they would have been pure white like the date/time stamp lettering, but when I looked at the frames they were sort of a light beige type color...
