Original onset of putrefaction.
Hey mates.
I'm chasing up a copy of the ORIGINAL onset of putrefaction, I know it's almost impossible to find but there's bound to be one sitting in someones closet collecting dust getting wasted. Anyone here got one they want to part with, or perhaps you could suggest me a good site to find, buy or trade rare metal releases like this one? cheers.

Not sure what you mean?, the only cd's I know of that were fucked up were a batch of EPITAPH cd's. So no i'm not looking for a fucked up copy. I'm looking for a working copy of the original onset album, it's got a pretty much black cover with a corpse lying in a blue glass casket, I think that's what it is anyway.

I just want the original aye, it sounds kinda different, almost more clearer or something than the re-issue, call me weird, but I want that damn album.
Edit - yeh it was a batch of Epitaphs that got fucked up, I'm not sure if they've resolved all those problems yet because my local cd store didn't even have it listed, they only had the re-issue of onset.

I like the remaster much better, it also contains remaster of two of their awesome demo songs. I do have the original album (as well as the original two demo songs) as mp3's, but I don't have the CD.

I just saw the original album cover, I prefer it over the re-issue.

Yeh, there was two songs on the old site and it had the the full sheet music to them aswell, I had them about four years ago, when the cd was pretty much unatainable, they are not there anymore.
The old cover kicks ass, I don't like the new necrophagist art, though it was done by the same person I think.

i like the re-issue cover, the old one, IMO, looks cheesy, and i hate the way they used to do their name. i wouldnt mind coming across a copy of their demo, though

Doesn't the remaster have real drum tracks rather than a drum machine?

Bah! Muhammed should've got Hannes to re-do them.

actually! i think the reissue is hannes doing the drums. it was just re-sent into the drum machine or something like that. i read about it on necrophagist's new page

I'm sure Tranny is correct, I read this too. I believe Hannes would do little samples, and they were fed into the drum machine, which Muhammed programmed.

So it was just like using Pro-Tools or something? Hannes was basically sampled and then cut-and-paste onto the recording?

So they just recorded single hits?, he didn't actually record full loops or anything?.
On another necro topic, I just got my epitaph a week ago, has anyone noticed at 2:17 on Symbiotic in theory the first few notes of Fur elise used as a fill?, it sounds mad aye.
