Do either of you know who CarnivorousWind actually is? Not to be rude, but considering what he had done, I don't see why anybody would wish him a happy birthday. I could see if somebody wished it was his final birthday, but that's the closest thing I can think of.

I know just what he did because I was here when he did it. I had a long ass flaming session with him for it too. He is only banned for a year though and he still comes here everyday.
I'm pissed at him, and I'm going to flame him a bit more once back, but I also think he deserves a B-day thread too. He will have payed his dues by then I think. |

I wasn't sure if you were here. I know Mania wasn't here. I don't think anybody is offended, Mania. This guy was a trouble making asshole, though. He posted links to viruses, including, if I'm not mistaken, one right in his signature line. I don't remember the exact virus, but I'm pretty sure it wasn't some harmless e-mail spam virus. If I recall, it was something that hijacked your computer, redirected browsers, and other malicious actions.
Actually, if it were some stupid mass e-mailer thing, it wouldn't be that bad. He'd still deserve a suspension, but I don't think anybody here would hate him like they do now.

Yup, he had it right in his avatar and in his sig he said to click his avatar for something cool, or something like that. If you opend it first without scanning it, and I nearly did, your PC would pop a window saying OWNED over and over again, and you were fucked. Only way to remove it was to format the HDD. His argument was that if you were stupid enough to click it with out scanning it first then you deserved to be OWNED.
Metaltabs should be a safe place free of shit like that. He was cool up to that point, and that is prob the only reason he was banned a year.

true. that and i didn't catch the virus. i told my friend what had happened "theres some guy giving a virus out" and my mate goes "well then give your computer a packet of condoms"

No, he can still post tabs. I'm pretty sure the fact that he was an active tabber is the only reason he didn't get permanently banned. The last tabs he posted were in September last year, after his ban.

I never thought I would cool down after what I went through with him. I didn't think a year was nearly long enough as I had seen many others banned for life for doing much less, but I think I will just give him a second chance once he comes back. As long as he doesn't come back as the asshole he was banned as then I can be nice.
