Need some volunteers to interview for school asignment
For an school assignment, I need some volunteers.
The task is to interview some people in different cultural backgrounds about their oppinions on a problem in the Netherlands.
I'm looking for: some person in a country with a lot of immigrants (ex: US, Australia, France, Germany etc.) living in an urban enviroment, and some person in a "non-immigation" country, preferably a rural enviroment (but that doesn't realy matter)
I also need a Dutchy (DEF, get your ass over here  )
If your not a regular, please don't bother.
Any guys will greatly help me out

what is the problem in the netherlands? immigration? also do you need the people to be in a "mixed" place? for example here there are FEW non whites so...

Well, I live in a counrty of made of immigrants. I have a different life then most people. I'm in the Navy and I have been in counrties where I was the minority and hated. I live in a urban area but I grow up in a rural area for many years. I'm a white male, age 26, married, and I have a little girl. I can give you more background if you need it. Tell me if you plan to use me for your project. Seems kinda fun.

I'm female, 46, live in a small town area in the States where there are quite a few immigrants, and I don't have a clue about what's going on in the Netherlands other than having a couple friends over there. One's one of my best friends I've never met. I've got military background in my family, too.

well, actually, the way she said it - 'sane - implies that there is a first part to the word. if she were referring to far beyond sane, the apostophe would be unnecessary... whereas, in Soulinsane, there is a reason for it, sinces she shortening your name. Therefore, i believe it is you that was right, and me that is the idiot.

Ohyes, the situation for those of you wondering: The Netherlands has been a country with a lot of immigration for the past 40 so years, most notably from Turkey and Marroco. However, there has been quite a few problems concerning the children and grand children of the original Marrocan immigrants concerning their addaption to Dutch socciety. Its complex to explain to foreigers.
Amongst a lot of issues, Marrocan youth feel singled out and discriminated by the Dutch police. There has been a lot of initiative to get more Marrocan police officers in the corpse since the Dutch police are almost exclusivly white. However, these youths do not want to join.
Thats the problem in a nut shell, its realy difficult to explain a problem with so many faccets (I didn't include most of it).

hey man, I've got a training next tuesday, till like one in the afternoon.
next week would be fine though, I've got monday's off. and thursdays too, at least that week, so any time of day would suit me just fine. Friday would work too. haha just let me know, we can surely work something out next week, you can call me too on 52102588. (mobile) the stairway would be fine! |

it's 'the stairway to heaven' it's a rock/metal cafe in Utrecht, it's damn big and they have loads of different beers there. plus neat snacks and decent music. I'm there at least once a week.
