I was given a persciption drug once that made me trip out and see things. I had tracers and everything. They said it was just a common side effect. Scared the hell out of me most times though.

I know what you mean. Once a couple friends and myself were trying out these pack of lozenges.....lozenges!!! Before I knew it, after 16 of these candies( I believe they were for some sort of flu) I was flippin'. It took about 1-2 hours to kick in and it happened around the time we were playing some Halo 2. Somewhere in the middle of the game I found myself staring point blank at the wall for about half an hour until the theme music of Family Guy snapped me out of it. Scariest stuff ever if you're outside though.

i like mushys mainly bacause there fun, allow u to think up some crazy ass shit, there free (if you go out and pick em) , they have a longer lasting effect than weed and they dont fuck up your lungs

Jim is, as usual, right. There's a context in which taking psychotropic shrooms is appropriate and even admirable, and one in which it's silly dirty hippyry.

And there's as much point to them as there is to any other spiritualistic rite. Probably more, since they actually do something notably 'religious' when taken in the correct setting. Of course, that setting's fairly specific and one I haven't yet come across, so I'm in no rush to do any. But psychedelics definitely hold more allure for me than most drugs, which strike me as uninteresting.

try 3 grams of dried mexicans, have two blunts. You will feel like you can controll nature, seriously that was like my second trip....after about the 5-6th hour...it all went downhill when the plants inside of me starting telling me "we are going to controll you forever"
I was watching the finding nemo DVD that night too, after about the 1st hour the sensations you feel through your brain are non-describable(sp?). 3 hours in i started on the weed....which was the turning point of the night. Ah well, apart from me freaking out...i spose cos of all the technology around...it was a pretty decent trip.
I've only ever done mexicans cos that's all they ever sold in this one shop in liverpool....dang.

No it's not a fact. Even using simple logic this can be proven - why the hell would they take a mind altering substance which makes them lethargic and dulls their real senses.

A re-enactment group tried the exact same thing, one guy was an expert archer - and after a dose of Fly Agaric, he couldn't hit the target at all. Fly Agaric mushrooms can be lethal in high doses too.

i remember watching something like that on tv and i m not too sure whether it turned out that they were on mushrooms, instead i think it was a really pungent type of weed which just made the user really really aggressive.

Anyways in response to Transient, i live in england, where mushrooms are easy to get hold off as they are near enough legal and can also be found easily aslong as its in season. I have personally picked mushrooms and i ve had no problem. Aslong as you know what your doing and u double check them, everything should be fine.

ive wanted to try shrooms since i was 13. I didnt exactly pursue it, but if it were easier to get i think i would have already tried it. Ive looked for them before in cow fields. Ive read and heard that you're only supposed to eat the ones with the purple juice inside them. Maybe there are other kinds, but this is the one i looked for. I dont know much about them anyway, and i didnt want to eat a poison one. So, i never found one with the blue juice, therefore, ive never tried them.

The most powerfull mushrooms(in psylocibine concentration)
as far as i know are Copelandia Cyanensis.
Actually the substance that creates the effect
is psylocin(psylocibine is "transformed" to psylocin when the mushrooms
are digested,there is also a small quantity of psylocin in the mushrooms).
Fly Agaric(Amanita Muscaria) mushrooms do not contain psylocibine but Ibotenic
acid(that's why the effect is so different than other mushrooms).
I've never tried mushrooms mainly cause it's not easy to get them
here.
