Favourite Band DVD's
I don't know if this should go in Bands or Chit Chat but I THINK this belongs in chit chat...
What are you're favourite DVD's by bands? It can be live shows, interviews, music videos, a documentary or just about anything.
My favourites are
Pantera - 3 Vulgar Videos From Hell, it just kicks so much ass that it's unbelivable
Pantera - The DVD That Came With The Best Of Album, it contains all (I think) the Pantera videos, it's cool.
Iron Maiden - Rock In Rio, thats a damn cool show and Bruce is very, very, VERY energic (sp?) and fun, same goes for Janic Gears. Awsome Show.
Ozzy Osbourne - Live At Budokan, this show is very cool and it's fun to see Robert play with Ozzy. Zakk is also insanely cool
I haven't seen too many DVD's thoug.

Does every nu-metal band have to pretend that they are clever by making patently obvious plays on words?

Awesome shit, mainly because it had shitloads of stuff about Ran. A lot of the studio music videos were funny as hell too.

its good, untill you realise is is basically the same 3 songs getting blasted at you over and over.
I would have to say that the best music DVD i have ever seen is Live Kreation. Its a decent length (about 120 minutes of audio i think) and has all film clips + history.
Besides, how can you not love KREATOR!!!

Plus you get some an hour length or so of ' behind the scenes' recording of damnation and deliverance.
Lamentations is my favourite too. But thats because I don't own any other band dvd's

Blind Guardian-"Imaginations Through The Looking Glass" is easily the best produced concert DVD I've ever seen. It's got an amazing set list too, although Hansi cannot always hit the high notes.
The Dream Theater DVD of "Scenes From A Memory" is mesmerizing. I can't wait for the Pain of Salvation "BE" DVD coming out this April. Not only are they my favorite band, but it will be spectacular to see how they pull off playing THAT album live!

I still find it hard to believe that Green Carnation ever successfully pulled off "Light of Day, Day of Darkness" live. They played it at Wacken a few years back, and they keep the first half in their set list, so...
I can't wait till they come back around here.

Type O Neagtive's After Dark
I don't know if this counts, but the hours worth of footage on Vehemence's Helping the World to See. It has scenes from about ten different live shows, in the studio, practice sessions, and footage from 1997 when they first started. Very awesome!

The Immolation DVD fucking rules. That's all there is to it. Loads and loads of gigs. Cool 'behind the scenes' footage too.
But my favourite: Yattering - Creative Chaos: The Art Of The 20th Century
This is defiantely the best drumming I have ever seen on any DVD. And it's completely live. Plus the bassist and the rhythm guitarist windmill like you wouldn't fucking believe. Its got clips, band info and pics on it too.

The bodom DVD is pretty funny, they are all drunk, and act out a story of trying to get money for the new album.
