It's no good when you're watching a really good band and drooling while watching the guitarist pull off an insane solo, then get ass rammed by some 300 pound guy running straight at you.

A buddy from back home is coming up to the uni I'm at and invited me to come to this free house concert. Haha, I'll go, but it's all punk....I've only seen one punk mosh in my life, and all it consisted of was like 4-5 guys play fighting with the entire rest of the crowd just watching.

This reminds me of the funniest thing I have ever seen. When Battle for Ozzfest was on, there was this one episode where it showed the crowd at one of the concerts, and this kinda nerdy looking emo chick was riding the crowd, and people were passing her onto the next guy and she's all doing the \m/ thing while riding the crowd, then the guys below just like forgot about her and let go of her. She fell like head first then her legs, then I think like someone stepped on her. Ooh I never laughed so hard in my life after seeing that.

I remember that! I thought I was the only to notice. It was fucking hilarious, she deserved it.

hey guys theres nothing wrong with hardcore dancing.i mean its not like were trying to hit random people thats not in the pit,if you dont want to get hit stay outta the pit.if you wanna mosh go to another pit,or if you want to stand there then just stand somewhere and be boring.but it pisses me off when people are trying to dance and some idiot who doesnt even know what hardcore dancing is comes and starts pushing people,thats when i punch people in the face.

hah pretty much every gig i go to theres six or seven fuckers acting like prats and flailing their limbs around stamping and punching the air which turns out to be other people sometimes. (thats hardcore dancing by the sound of it)
thing is though, they're always stamping, so they are always on one foot, and they are always off balance, so they always looking down so they dont fall over,
which means that when you and one of your mates runs into them like you learned how to avoid being tacled in rugby, six or seven people end up on the floor really disorientated after having been knocked over like dominoes.

What I find nowdays is that they go to a show specifically to dance, my mate was tellin me how he see's em all up the front in a big circle with their BACKS to the BAND watching each other dance, it's bloody well ridiculous. I didn't realise this shit was world wide, I just though it was a gay crew on the goldy who called emselves the VDC which stands for "voilent dance crew", lol so pathetic, people who are straight edge and claim it need to realise that they are more obsessed with staying straight than we are of drinking or smoking some bud, the are completly contradicting themselves, funny, never the less.

Yeah, those so-called "straights" ruin everything. Moshing is one thing, but then going around and around and around and around punching and kicking at air is something.......different. I remember going to see a COB concert when they were touring w/ Throwdown and all that, and there were like all these real true metal fans there, then I see all these straight edge guys. Okay, the funny part was that after COB finished playing a song, Henkka (bassist) gave Alexi (guitarist) a Heineken and Alexi was like "Thank you sir!" and took a swig, then immediately all these straight edgers were like "Noooo, booooo ."
