I just finished watching this show, and, as usual, there was no shortage of cheese to laugh at. Now, I've been laughing at this show since I was a teenager, in no small part due to my grandmother, who legitimately enjoys Chuck Norris in all of his endeavors. She thinks he's the toughest guy in the world, and she legitimately thinks that he could take Bruce Lee in Bruce's prime. I'm getting beside myself.

Anyway, as I was watching tonight, a new thought occured to me- is this bad on purpose? I couldn't help but wonder, did the producers seriously have fun making this bad so they could laugh at it, like a cheesy 70's blaxploitation spoof on MadTV (Funkenstein comes to mind)? Did Chuck laugh at how shitty this was? I think if I was an actor working with such awful material, I'd have a blast.

It was awesome when I was a little tottler. But after I saw Bruce Lee kick Chuck's ass in his first movie ever I started thinking differently. Haha, jesus, he had his share of chest hair...

You want genuine cheeseness? Walker Texas Ranger is nothing. Try a mid-to-late-nineties movie called "Point Blank", starring Mickey Rourke. A group of prisoners escape and take a people in a shopping mall hostage. It was so bad to the point it was actually entertaining. And the scene where Mickey's brother dies......... HAHAHAHAH!

Try and find it folks, probably in that tiny corner of the local video store that still has VHS.

I watch Walker whenever I can.. awesome show! I think it might have been a joke.. if you ever watch Connan, he had this lever he pulled and it would randomly play a walker clip.. and one time Chuck came on and they just had a good laugh.

My dad actually met chuck norris.Hes like 5 ft tall, and on the show they just have him stand on boxes and crap like that.

I haven't watched it for like 4 years, I don't remember much about except it was just another boring action show.

If you wanna talk about cheesyness to the point of humor though, watch the 3rd most recent matrix movie, the script was so poorly, it was hilarious.

all matrix movies are poorly written..

Walker is pure comedic genius.

Except the first one had a fairly decent concept, but the other 2 were wannabe Zen bullshit.

And the Matrix brought on this whole thing of action scenes in movies where they do this slow-motion shit.

Which was cool. But then they over did it. And so did the rest of the world.

Yeah, I remember that, it's probably the funniest thing I've ever seen on Conan, and I watch him a couple of times a week, so I've seen a lot of his stuff. It started out innocently enough, right? He said something about NBC buying the company that owned all the Walker episodes, and he said all he had to do was pull a secret lever and it would play a clip. It was always the cheesiest, funniest clips, too.

He would do it every time the show hit a lull, sometimes not even during a lull, I even remember him doing it in the middle of an interview. And then after a few weeks, he got out of hand, and Chuck Norris came to end Conan's villainy. That was too fucking awesome. The fact that Chuck Norris can sit back and laugh while his is being ridiculed is one of the reasons I thought maybe I was right, maybe Walker was just a big inside joke. Or, maybe it was just meant to be serious and Chuck has a good enough sense of humor that he can just sit back and laugh at it anyway.

it's not new. it's been on for ages. for the better part of the nineties, I believe. I don't know how come you guys don't get it, though, I'm from Yugoslavia, (or what's left of it), and we used to get it all the time. Not that that's something to brag about. If you guys don't get the show, it only means the TV execs in Iceland have more common sense than their coleagues in Yugoslavia, or the US for that matter. The show is a piece of crap.
In a nutshell, Chuck Norriss is this bad ass Texas Ranger, (a cop with a cowboy hat), who has this really cool gun that he never has to use, cause he can kick everyone's ass in hand to hand combat. This show deserves to be

Manowar, the only thing you need to know about Walker, Texas Ranger is that it's better than Neighbours.

that was honnestly one of the funniest things i ever saw...it was completely ou of context... you would just see him roll of a two story building and say some cheesy line...heh
