quick question on double accidentals

dunno if there is already stuff on this, but i searched the sticky and couldn't find anything so:

can somebody tell me what you do when you have a double sharp (Fx) or double flat (Bbb)? is it simply that you play a tone up from that note? (for example, Fx becomes G?

thanks for the help-ation!
