Good lord, they treated him how we treat Chuck Schuldiner. The guy Adan Sanchez sucked ass. Fucker sings like he's go something stuck in his esaphogus(sp?) and has all these sluts for fans. They all wear t-shirts with his face in memory. I get shit from these fucks, and they tell me Dimebag sucked and he should've died. Then I get shit form the "G Hustlas" and "Playaz" that wear shirts 3 times their size and wear em inside out. they look like fucking morons. They make everyone believe they're cool because they wear a jersey for a basketball team that doesnt exist (i.e Washington Bullets). hell, someone took it up a notch and wore a fucking clock to school (i kid you not). Last time my old wrestling coach got sick of their shit and yelled at them to "talk right" after they asked him "HAY, WRAZZLIN' COACH! What time izzit? Tha clock is 2 howas (hours) behaand. Actually, being black isn't the trend. Being black is something you are born with, and if you're not, you just aren't, there is no trend. Listening to urban music doesn't change that. The trend is urban, believe it or not there are white people in the ghetto. People in the ghettos and other slummy areas generally listen to the same music and dress similarly whether they are white, black, Asian, or whatever. How many rich black kids dress in the style of the trend you are describing? Not many. Want to know why? Because it's not popular where they live. People tend to do what is popular where they live. Just because hip-hop culture is popular in the slums and slums are largely occupied by blacks doesn't somehow make hip-hop culture 'being black'.

The only real exception to this rule is generally confined to rebellious teenagers of wealthy, white families. They might embrace the urban styles so popular in the slums they'd never, ever visit (unless it was to score some pot or ecstasy) because urban trend is all over the TV, radio, and movies. These kids are slaves to the media, and the fact that their parents largely disapprove of this urban culture is only more incentive for them to embrace it.

that doesn't happen to me... I've got metalhead friends, rapper friends, mainstreem friends, rocker friends and aaall that shit. I don't try to force them to listen to my music and they don't force me to listen to they're music. One time at school thoug I was supposed to write an essay about somthing I really liked and I choose to write about Pantera. I got permission to not just read the essay for the class but also let them listen to a Pantera song (cowboys from hell) and they all liked it Would give them headache to listen to it for more then an hour but all liked it.
But there is one goth bitch at school that tries to force everyone to listen to boring numetal and somtimes blackmetal shit. Not saying that all blackmetal is boring but she likes boring blackmetal that she thinks is really heavyand really cool.
Most of my rapper friends also adore both Bob Marley and Guns n' Roses so that gets a lot of playing at school because who doesn't like bob marley and Gn'R?

Yeah, I had a ton of friends who like rap. I remember my friend Wesley who was a huge wigger. He did free styles and shit and he loved death metal. If I remember correctly, his favorite death metal bands were Disgorge, Impaled, Cock & Ball Torture, Deeds of Flesh, and Dying Fetus. He did gory raps like Necro. Really nice guy.

I hate those hxc skaters. I remember the only fight I got into was with a skater. He was about 5'0 tall and I'm about 6'3. I was walking by at lunch and I heard, "Metal Fag!" I couldn't agree with you more on that. I fucking HATE those losers. The other day, I saw a guy driving a minivan with fucking spinners. Now, giving the benefit of the doubt, maybe it was a joke, or maybe he lost a bet. If not, he'd have to be the biggest loser in the world. Yeah, me too. I mean, I hated high school, but nobody EVER bothered me because of metal. Nobody ever bothered me at all, actually. I used to bring my guitar to school about 3-4 times a week to practice when I was 15-16, and the only bothers were non-guitarists asking me if they could play (I had a strict 'you break a string, you reimburse me' policy) and the frequent 'hey, wanna join my band?' I wasn't very good back then, so I'm not sure why everybody wanted me to join their bands. I guess the ska, punk rock, or nu-metal drivel that was undoubtedly their style meant I didn't need to be very good to join.

I'm also with you as far as having friends on the football team, they never bothered me. Contrarily, I remember some people telling me I should join, which was actually based on the way I'm built because I can't run too well. I can catch and throw, but that's about it as far as football goes. I also had a lot of people tell me I should join the wrestling team, which made far more sense as I'm a natural wrestler.

I mean, all in all New Bedford High School sucked a llama's nasty ass, but not because of the people there.
