Ok, this ought to be fun, I am sure I'm going to irritate the hell out of some people and get a bunch of mods and everyone else totally pissed at me and flaming me for starting a thread with such a selfish purpose in mind that honestly no one probably really cares about and has nothing to do with anything except that I'm gone for a while. But truthfully, I don't really care. I could have posted this in the "what a shitty xmas" thread but that didn't seem like the right place. Anyway, I'm travelling for work and then the holidays and I won't be around for a while. So before I go I just wanted to say Merry Christmas to you all, Happy New Year.
Especially to powersofterror, Nihilist, guitar_demon, BLS, Def, ManOwaR, Cloaca , philkilla666 and PST 88 -- You're all cool as fuck. I hope you have a great holiday each of you. If I missed anyone, I'm sorry -- there's so damn many of you all on this forum. It's been cool mixin' it up with ya the last week. And I hope this thread lasts long enough that you get to see it. Maybe that's wishful thinking.
Hehe, should be amusing to see who gets pissed off at my taking a whole thread to shout out to those people I think rock, at least while I'm still here the rest of the day. hehe, yeah, it should be, 3 days away! we're going out to dinner the 24th of december, at scheveningen (the fisherman's harbor of holland, so to speak) and we're having dinner on the pier with a view on the boulevard. (it's like the dutch hollywood, haha)
on the 25th we'll leave and I'll be back on tuesday or something. we've got a pretty cool hotel close to paris centre and disneyland (she's never seen it, me neither so we might go and check out the rides)
and ofcourse, this is all arranged by yours truly ain't I the modern day romeo!
Anyways, Dimedude, you have a merry christmas and a happy new year too during those travels, I remember you're the old fart here, do you have a wife and stuff too? I would really miss my girl if I'de have to go away for the holidays for work  |

I have plans to decorate a tree with beer bottles (broken and whole), condoms of various colours, tampons (clean, of course) and other stuff. The angel is going to be a Barbie doll with a wings pad glued to her back.
I don't traditionally celebrate christmas, and to me it sucks, everyone gets flooded with those "maybe christmas doesn't come from the store, maybe christmas means something more" type messages, but they go ignored. This is a religious holiday, and I'm not religious. This is a consumer holliday, a waste of resources, a depressing season, and nothing more than an excuse to get gifts, and I never get what I want anyway, eventhough I question people and strive to get them what they want they fail to do the same for me. I'm saving myself for New Year's, the holliday I traditionaly celebrate.

Just spotted this thread. You learned the rules quite quickly, didn't cause a fuss or created extra work for me to deal with - which means you're OK in my books. Have a good Christmas, hope you're back soon.
I'm agnostic, not quite an atheist, but I get excited around this time of the year anyways. Even though I'm kinda past the age where I receive gifts from my parents, etc, I still enjoy it. And chicks hug you and give you alcohol (teehee). I don't really know how you people perceive me, most likely as a human-loathing fucking moron 95% of the time, but I enjoy making people happy. Christmas is a prime opportunity to take advantage of that.
Last year, remarkably, I was still feeling seedy by the time New Years Eve hit. Hopefully it will be the same this year.

I've spent about 90% of my holiday time with my girlfriend and I'm not complaining. If you ever see her, you'll understand. Of course, when I get my cam you will.
