The next worst (watching Metallica descend into non-musicians in Some Kind of Monster) is so petty in comparison I shouldn't even mention it.

Best New Album: I stand by thinking 2004's a bad year, and proof of it is that The Greater of Two Evils is probably my favorite record this year. If I had to choose one with new material, I might say Fractured, since it's the only technical death record that I find worth listening to, or Terrifyer, because Pig Destroyer have something I never expected to find in them.

Worst New Album: The Glorious Burden. Goddamn, Iced Earth have lost it. And they barely had it to begin with.

Worst Artist: I'll choose Shadows Fall, Jarrod. I really fuckin' hate that band, beyond a sane level. Lamb of God have their moments. On their new record they're like a mediocre Psycroptic at times. Or, or, I drink too much; but I think there's something to that comparison. Both vocalists even pull the same odd vox on occasion. It's weird.

I still don't remember, but that all sounds like me. I was a mod back when slayme was still a spammer. It's funny that, as the site is now, if he showed up here like he had back at atmetal, he'd get banned immediately and would never have ended up being cooler than the rest of you. It makes you think. But not too much.

They should base the country's political system on metaltabs....there would be a
much smaller number of dumb-fucks trying to run the country. Plus it would be funny....public humiliations galore!!!!!!
