Heh, I'm 35, I am the parent lol. I have 4 sons no less. They're all young, but one plays piano and sings, one plays the drums, and one plays the guitar. The other is way too young yet, but we're gonna be workin on him as soon as he's old enuff (which is soon!)

No, I'm getting a promotion to a really good title. The company is opening new Headquarters for a spinoff in West Palm and I'm the guy who gets to run the show. Should be pretty cool.

My only memories of West Palm Beach are my grandparents slowly dying, so, uh, avoid that. Try and get your company to transfer you to Chicago. The sky there's a lovely shade of starless orange.

Seems like Chicago keeps comin' up. Man, I really might consider it, but Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr....doesn't it get hella cold there? I mean frostbite-inducing cold? I've lived in enough cold places in my life. I was glad to come to San Jose, but I've been watching the Florida weather on the internet and now SJ seems a bit on the cool side LOL.

Either way, I've got no choice in the matter. Company is opening a new HQ for a spinoff in Florida and I'm the guy who's running it. So, it's a done deal.

Chicago keeps coming up because we both live there. It's cold, but I moved there from Rochester NY, so it's not really much of a difference. I prefer the winter in these places to the summer. I also don't think I could adjust to living in a place without snow. It's a part of my life.

No worries about my grandparents. If you live to be very old, have a good number of people who love you, and die naturally there should be no complaints. I guess it'd be better than outliving your ability to control your body. My grandfather's like that, and that's hard to watch, especially since I knew him when he still had some love for life in him.

I know there are people from Florida, but that's a pretty varied state. I mean, when death metal, boy bands, and Lynyrd Skynyrd all come from one place, you know that's not a place that's easily summed up. West Palm Beach is somewhere between the rednecks and club culture and, from what I remember seeing of it during visits to my grandparents, it's a pretty nice place. I seem to remember there being a museum of cartoons nearby and other things that may serve nicely for kids. I think the Picasso museum's around there too, but that might not work until your kids are older. Other than that, I recall a lot of old people living nearby.

I grew up in Rochester NY. I wouldnt want to move to Florida because of the hurricanes and shit. But i guess going for a job would be cool.

I lived in Florida for a few months back in 2nd grade, my memories of that Disney owned pile of shit arent the greatest.

Good ol' Illinois is the place to be.. I dont know why but I love this state.
