Metal Wars on Metaltabs

Reading through the ancient writings of the Metaltabs archive post I have come across mention of the Great Metaltabs War against BM. Is there any Metaltabs Ancient One that can explain more about this to enlighten me and answer the current question... Are we actively at war with nu-metal as well, just the same as BM was on this site?

Well, you and I are both professionally military trained warriors. If it came to it, we could take Nu-metal just by ourselves

First, check my sig.

The Black Metal Wars happened at a time where the board was primarily black metal fans and the mods were primarily rockin' the death and thrash and anything but black metal, all of which was taking the back seat in the mad rush of Vargsturbation. Basically we got fuckin' sicker than a pederast with AIDS and ebola of hearing their no-nonsense, serious discussion of topics like how to be 'true,' and how disastrous it was not to achieve trueness, and how good it was that Varg actually did what he wrote about. Which is idiotic when you take a second to think about it, so I'll give you a second before continuing. Got it? Good.

We argued and closed threads that obliviously wandered into territory clearly marked by my 'Trespass here and I will shit on your head' sign, and eventually pissed off a few of them enough that they came on with some nonsense about 'Einsatz Kommandos' and nazi bullshit and were banned. Basically the whole thing lasted a few months, after which the predominance of black metal slipped away. But during that time, almost any death metal thread in Bands disappeared in a matter of hours in favor of close-minded black metal threads - which aren't necessarily what black metal threads are, but were in this case - and there were a lot of links to sites baggin' on people like Oscar from Hammerfall, and Varg's intimidating pose with his mase, basically telling everybody to lighten up and provoking incredibly harsh responses, everybody racing against each other, tripping and pushing aside the other contestants, to do a double axle and nail the fuckin' landing right in the stereotype being made fun of. Also, things like making fun of the terms grim and necro and slayme's immortal 'Black Metal Free Zone' banner had their origins there, as did unrestrained Varg bashing.

I wouldn't say there's a war with nu metal, just because there aren't a plurality of nu-metalheads whoring up the board with self-congratulatory, intolerant posts. If they ever become a significant portion of the site, maybe, depending on the behavior, you'll have a war. But I don't really think we decided until after the fact that the Black Metal Wars were really 'wars.'

I guess there was an ancient one to describe it.

I dont understand why I still get shit about liking black metal though. I had nothing to do with that older stuff. but ok. im not going to describe, and yet again, try to justify, to you guys, why i like black metal. I think it should be left alone, but whatever. have your "fun".

You bring up an important point. The name was adopted because it was so silly. If you look through the posts, the majority of what sane, slayme, bobpurgis, memnoch, and myself, oh, and Gigantic Penis, were trying to do was to get people to lighten up and stop taking themselves so seriously. Very little of it was an attack on the music; most of it was an attack on the behavior. Of course, this was misunderstood and there was a lot of 'Why am I getting shit for liking a band?', which is wrong. There's nothing wrong with anybody who likes black metal. There's something wrong with the people who glorify the behavior of these people. And nazis. Nothing good about nazis. Don't you remember all those movies with them? They keep trying to kill Indiana Jones! Indiana Jones! What a bunch of cunts.

Like I said, the problem we had was with the cult mentality and absurd level of respect they gave to murderers and arsonists for being murderers and arsonists. And with the inability to see why, even if you think it's cool, dressing up like a character from the Lord of the Rings and posing in the woods is a tad bit extremly fuckin' silly. A good example of a cool black metaller is Sanders, who could crack a fuckin' joke about the behavior when we were at Graspop. But nobody should get shit for liking the music so long as they realize it's just music, which can and should be separated from the realm of reality. When you don't do that, you end up with a fuckhead like Varg, who, whatever you may think about his music, is, personally, a cuntox of unrivalled proportions. I mean, just think if death metallers felt they had to act along the lines of the lyrics: you'd have a serial killer for every CC fan, and people doing stupid-ass shit like Trey Azagthoth biting his wrists until they bleed as a 'sacrifice' to the gods for fuckin' Altars of Madness. Good album, and would've still been one if he hadn't bit his goddamn wrists, wouldn't it've? Sheeeyit.

But yeah, dig whatever music you want. It's your trip and I don't care. But don't go around stabbing gays and biting your wrists. Realize some of the shit you've formed a personal attachment to can be stupid without the whole thing falling on its ass. Remember music is a way to enjoy life and express yourself, but it shouldn't dictate your behavior. If you get caught up in all the petty shit subgenres lend themselves to, you're missing out on a lot of good music because it doesn't fit arbitrary standards, and just wasting a lot of energy that could be put to better use.

I'm pretty much done up on answering all of this. Direct any and all future questions to Jim or the caniggerian, both of whom are well-equipped to deal with any concern that may come up in your pondering of why a few arguments are called a 'war.' Do it quick, because I wouldn't be surprised if Jim closed the thread.

at times like this we should all quote manowar...

We own the right to live the fight, we're here for all of you
Now swear the blood upon your steel will never dry

We said we would return and here we are again

We are the hammer of the gods, we are thunder, wind and rain.

There they wait in fear with swords in feeble hands
With dreams to be a king, first one should be a man
I call about and charge them all with a life that is a lie
And in their final hour they shall confess before they die

In the beginning was the Green, and the Green was with nomad and the Green was nomad. He was in the beginning with UBB, and all things were made through him, and without him was not anything made that was made. And nomad said: 'Let there be a place for those with an addiction to metal, and let it give a history of metal,' and there was born a site called Addicted to Metal, which featured a history of metal. And nomad looked on this and saw that it was good, and there was much rejoicing. And nomad said: 'Let there be Pantera and Napalm Death tabs' and there were Pantera and Napalm Death tabs. And there was much rejoicing. And Lo, unto these tabbers nomad said: 'Let there be a forum, in which there will be much discussion as to Pantera and Napalm Death, and let there also be a forum in which general discussion is permitted, and let this forum be named "Chit Chat"' and such forums were formed. And there was much rejoicing. And there came a time that nomad found the forum was too large to handle on his own, and when that time came nomad gave a call out unto the land, that there may be selected from the population those few that will moderate on his behalf. And there came forth one with a head of PP, and a KJ from Houston, and a Martyr, and Gezuz, and others whose names time has lost, and nomad looked upon them and knew that it was good.

And it came to pass that PPHead came before nomad, and spoke unto him: 'I must leave now from the land of the metalheads, and go out into the world, that I may find peace, or something like that, I'm not sure exactly what, because PST's memory is hazy as to what precisely my reasons were for going. But go I must, and shall.' And there was much mourning in the land, and nomad with heavy heart took back the gift of moderation with which he had adorned PPHead's brow, and PPHeads left the land of the metalheads and was not seen again. And nomad conferred with the other moderators, and HoustonKJ offered to take up some of PPHead's duties, but there were still some left. And nomad conferred with the other moderators, but none could take on any more duties, and there were still some left. And nomad conferred with the moderators, and between them came up with a list of acceptable replacements, and so it came to pass that PST had the gift of moderation bestowed upon him and went down into the land of Tours and New Album, and it was good.

Now the whole forum had few threads of little length, but as men migrated from the east, they said to one another 'Come, let us make a thread of unsurpassed length, and let us name it "Reply to This."' And so they made the thread. And they said to one another 'Come, let us continue to reply whatever we wish to this thread, so that it will surpass in size all other threads.' And so they replied. But it came to pass that the bandwidth of the site would not support a thread of infinite length, and nomad came before them, and said unto them: 'My threads shall have you, but they will not support you forever. And the amount of their posts shall be numbered 300.' And so it was from that day forth that all threads titled 'Reply to This' were closed after 300 posts.

And it came to pass that Martyr too had to leave, for personal reasons, and a call went out unto the land to find a replacement. And my memory is hazy here, but pretty soon slayme, INFILTRAITOR, and irishbunny had become mods. And there was much rejoicing.

But then there was an event scurrilous in the land of metalheads, when from the east came Leroy and BOCEPHUS, bringing with them the powers of spamming and post-whoring and of e-ebonics, and there was much sorrow in the land. For nomad was on vacation, and nomad alone had the power to ban, and moderators were overwhelmed by the tide of shit. And so a day passed, and still they remained unbanned, and posted shit. And two days passed, and still they remained unbanned, and posted shit. And some other days may have passed as well, but not many, perhaps not even so many as two, at this points my memory's going soft, but for the sake of getting three let us say that on the third day nomad returned, and Leroy and BOCEPHUS were banned, and there was much rejoicing.

And other things happened as well, but Christ, this is getting irritating, and if you're still entertained now instead of annoyed, you're either a cunt, a fuckass, or some combination fo the two.

I believe metalgraingirl came to metaltabs briefly once it was opened some 3 years ago, but only stayed long enough to post a few messages before vanishing.

The "Black Metal Wars" were a fun but perilous time. I had actually forgotten most of it until i read PST's history lesson.

To answer timedragon, we were not ever "really" against anyone liking Black Metal. The wars were focused on the attitude that accompanies Black Metal (in most cases). We could understand people liking different types of music, it's natural after all; but we couldn't comprehend why dressing in skin-tight leather and wearing black eye makeup to simulate tears was so "cool" to most black metal fans. It just sounded and looked so ridiculous to us all. And coincidentally enough it just so happened that all moderators (with the exception of GiganticPenis) were on the same side against Black Metal, and about 90% of the members at the time were completely "true" black metallers. Metaltabs had in a sense been transformed into "Black-Metaltabs". Every post had a mention of a black metal band. Every 5 threads was about Varg. Every 3rd thread was about Cradle of Filth, and either how "true" they were, or how "untrue" they were. It got too much.....i think even to the point of driving some of us away from the site for a while.

But anyways, that's all history now.

Most of us still dislike Black Metal, and will make references to the olden days whenever possible. Don't get offended though, it's all for fun.

I kinda feel that Metaltabs is at war with nu-metal now. Nothing wrong with liking some parts of the stuff but the folks that have been baned the last few mouths have been heavily involved with nu-metal. They had the whole angsty nu-metal behavior traits and everything. They were nearly pure "true" nu-metalheads and they did nothing but rip on the rest of us eventually becouse we didin't like nu-metal.

Our forefathers here at Metaltabs fought with ferocious determination through gritted teeth in order to reclaim our great community from the ravages of the black metal hoarde. The recent skirmishes with the vile nu-metal spawn fade in comparison to the wartime heroic stoicism of yore.

Lest we forget.

Houston used to talk about weed all the time? Actually, now that you mention it, I definitely remember that. I also remember that he could type faster than a sack of White Castle burgers disappears at Crowbar's house. And that's fast, people, that's pretty damn fast.

Grain only showed up here infrequently, like 20 or so posts, as mem said. She had a kind of falling out with some people, I'm not clear on the details, but I'd be shocked as the actor in a Milgram experiment when the proctor actually allows the electrical circuit to be completed, because he's a dick for performing the test to begin with, if she showed up again. She was pretty cool, but now she's pretty gone.

I'm not sure you're fighting a war against nu metal. Maybe a police action. From what I've seen it has a whole different dynamic, though that FUCK THIS SITE AND EVERYONE HERE BECAUSE I'M A WHINEY BITCH WHO CAN'T TAKE CRITICISM BECAUSE I SCRATCHED OFF MY PREPUCE TRYING TO FUCK A SLIT-GUTTED FISH (actual title, or would have been were I still a mod. Dylan, that's a hint) was somewhat akin the the Nazi invasion. But, y'know, c'mon: nazis. Don't you hate those guys? They're always trying to kill Indiana Jones. And 10,000,000 jews, gypsies, poltical dissidents, gays, and people who bend their knees when they walk, but I think the key part is Indiana Jones. Damn, I hate nazis! But it might be a war. Why not? Every generation has its war. Mine just happens to be The Greatest Generation.

Since I saw it came up elsewhere, and goddammit I'm not posting twice, so get your ass in here if you care: Def's English is very good. However, his Dutch is fantastic. I saw him talking with some other Dutchmen, and it was just unreal how well he spoke it. You'd almost think it was his native language, it was so fluent. However, as all know, his native language is beer.

I'll try and do some more atmetal storytelling later, though the last few months or so of it would best be told by atif, who was actually around. I was gone for a while, came back and found my green heroin displaced. It was like leaving a party when the beer was dwindling and coming back later to find two kegs.

Recently, i had finished reading Lords of Chaos. It made me hate black metal even more. These black metal people took that music too damned seriously. I can see taking it seriously, as in being heavy and having complex riffs, but having music compel you to burn a church, sacrifice something, or murder a complete stranger, is just ridiculous.
What pisses me off especially is the constant bashing these black metal dudes do on death metal, hell it's even more reason to wage a war. I'm getting off topic here, but from what i see, death metal influenced a lot of black metal, i saw a picture of Dead (or someone from Mayhem) wearing a Death shirt, but then Euronymous goes on and claims that Death is "false black metal". No wonder he got stabbed in the head.

If only you had been here 2 years ago, and had your current knowledge and hatred for black metal, you would have fit in nicely with those that mattered on this board.

Don't get offended though, it's all for fun.

i must thank you now. that actually does clear up some for me. But i really do have an emotional attachment to most black metal. It surely is the melody. I will say again that i really dont like how the members look. I dont like the leather and spikes or the paint. but what can i do? i like the keyboards and the guitars. I hope that if my music makes an impression someday, people wont be so quick to judge us just becuase it sounds like just another stupid band. i put all my efforts into this. and id hate to be ignored just because of what so many people have portrayed this style to be. I dont know if all this made sense, yes, drunk again. I think im an alcoholic now. but fuck it. My feelings here are just the same. And i do understand why so many people despise black metal. It really does look stupid. but when i have a cd playing, I will never judge looks... thats just how i am.

EDIT: Im feel as though im begging for acceptance. why is this? I love keyboards and music that gives me feelings of deep emotion. why is this so shunned throughout the metal world? I say AGIAN it looks stupid. but if you are judging simply by looks, you dont deserve to be heard. I dont judge anyone i meet by looks. so why are you judging music on looks?

We're not judging the music based on looks at all man, we're judging the looks directly! There's a difference.

Also, most of us (mods) just don't like Black Metal either. We think it looks ridiculous and we don't like the sound. So we dislike both, the apperance and the sound. I personally hate it because i'm an avid Death Metal fan.....if you want to get specific, i like Brutal and Technical styles of D-Metal. So Black Metal doesn't appeal to me at all. I hate the high-screaming voices, the organs and keyboards, and i hate music without a low-end. Tunning to standard is fine, one of my favorite bands tunes to E (Martyr), but the sound accompanied with Black Metal is so "high pitched" it's irritating to me. So already disliking the music, it just makes it so much easier to make fun of the genre as a whole.

I understand. Could NEVER agree. but understand. You really hate keyboards that much??!! man, my keyboard is like the door to my mind. Its like i can transform my different emotions into sound simply by changing the settings. And then the speed used can decide the difference between gloomy or intense. I guess everyone has people that can relate to them, and then those that cant. But i still think you guys are cool.

Yes keyboards go along with guitar and everything else very well, they are kinda like most other instruments in one, how can you like music and hate keyboards? Lol, the diversity...

I just can. I have no problem with piano, i used to play years ago and wish to play once again before my life's up. But keyboards and brutalness? No. Piano playing a beautiful composition by one of classical's greatest? Yes please!

ah, well then cheers to that... i use my piano setting a lot!

EDIT: but wait!!! you do like brutal guitar. And you do like beautiful piano. I see no harm whatsoever in combining the two. Really, whats the big deal. Im not purposely bombarding you with these questions, but you are the one at hand. And untill someone can come up with an understandable reason of why you shouldnt combine the two, or AT (the very) LEAST fucking accept it and quit talking shit about it... I will never respect the general opinion. plenty of the majority seems to like COB and at the same time are able to listen to death metal. COB is way different than real death metal. Im not saying COB is black metal, but it does have the vocals. The keyboards are there and so is the melody. Im not implying that you like COB, but, if you do, then you have contradicted your opinion on mixing classical and metal. Once again, Im not saying you like them and that my last statement is effective. But im willing to bet that more than a few of the guys on here like COB but hate black metal. And what is the difference? It is the keyboard setting and the lack of tremolo. I always seem to promise myself i will quit arguing for black metals acceptance, but then i find myself doing it out of control. I think the main reason is becuase no one has given a really GOOD reason as to why they bitch about it. I can tell you why i dont like death metal. Most death metal anyway... Its boring, there is lack of melody(which i love), the lyrics are no better than that of your everyday cannibal or crime investigator with a twisted view on his profession, and most death metal songs sound like a broken record repeating WAY too much. See, there is my reason. Everyone here who has bitched about black metal (besides you Memnoch) has only bullshitted about the way they look. You actually spoke of disliking the pitch of the vocals, and disliking the keybordes. Thats understandable, And i believe my reasons for disliking death metal are reasonable as well. SOrry for this long ass and probably pointless post... but I do this shit occasionally.

I wanna start by saying this: GiganticPenis, as far as I can remember, loved keyboards the way memnoch loves porn or a priest loves a naive 8-year old wearing shorts with an elastic waistband.

I don't mind the keyboard in and of itself, but it has a place in the music as a whole. When it overpowers everything else it's annoying. I grew up with prog rock and blues and jazz, all of which use the keyboards, but they use it as a part of the whole. The guitar'll still drive when it needs to, and whatever else. And there're some bands I could point to now that do the same and are cool by me. But a lot of bands, and black metal isn't alone in being guilty of this, use the keys to ... I suppose they're trying to add some punch to the riff, and maybe some symphonic edge to the music, but the keyboards will always sound synthetic. Or, at least, they always will if they try to mimic something analog, and that's invariably what I hear in black metal. So the edge to the riffs is this smack to the face that's in no way the blunt knock to the head of the riff's force, but rather them rubbing this, well, effluence instead of respecting where the guitar is better than the keyboard. And there are definitely points at which this is true; if they keyboard could do everything better than the guitar there'd be no fuckin' need for one, would there? And then you're in Varg territory, and fuck Varg.

So I've wandered. But I'll say again: I can like keys. Just not the way they're used there. Or the way much anything else is used. Or how it's produced. And especially the way they dress. But it's cool if you do. Except that last bit without at least a smidgen - just a smidgen, it ain't much to ask - of irony. But for the rest, hell, taste is taste and not everyone can have as good taste as mine.

It's funny how far the board seems to've swung in the other direction from those days. There couldn't even be a good, healthy war between two legitimate metal subgenres. Crazy fucks.

And mem: I think Martyr went drop D for Warp Zone. Or, if not then, some other point.

PST88: They have used Drop-D on more than one occasion, but my point was that they're still basically tuned to standard, with the exception of one string on every 3-4 songs.

I hate Pink Floyd. I don't like CoB, and i don't like keyboards.

Timedragon, just drop it man. I've already explained why i don't like BM. I don't listen to your everyday Death Metal bands that sound all the same. I use the term DM to make things easier, but the bands i listen to now are quite diverse: Martyr, Gorguts, Cephalic Carnage, Immolation, Nile, Spawn of Possession and Death. (main bands anyways) About half of these bands don't have traditional melody, but their songs all flow perfectly and for me are a joy to listen to. I love the complexity from Martyr and Spawn, the atmosphere from Nile and Immolation, the crazyness of Gorguts and Cephalic and the overall genius of Shuldiner. None of these bands sound the same, nor do they sound like any other bands (except for a few who have copied their style). And on top of everything, they don't need/use keyboards. Why? Because it isn't necessary! Black Metal might almost require keyboards by now because it's been that way for over a decade, but DM hasn't needed keyboards nor should it. It's just extremely low, heavy riffs at sometimes insane speed or insanely slow. And someone like Vigna can make any eerie sound/riff using his guitar without having to run over to some keyboard/synth machine.

Bottom line, i don't like BM for reasons already stated. Live with it.

hahaha. "live with it". OK. I was just trying to get a REAL reason that i could relate to... failed. I like some of the death metal you apparentley like. And i will "drop it", for now anyway... untill someone wants to bitch about how "gay" they think black metal is for their illigitamate reasons. And there is death metal with keyboards. One of my favorite bands, Garden of shadows uses them. "dont need it" pfft!!! right. I guess its pretty easy for you to tell me to "drop it" when you feel overwhelmed and confused about something you're defending. Also another death metal band i like, argentum, uses keyboards a lot. so youve totally lost your credibility, IMO, there. And once again, to maintain "respect" for you (as any other) i say, this might not be the case. Hey, id really have no problem with people's opinions, but there not just opinions, they're critisizms. people talk so much shit to me about black metal and have yet to back it up with understandable reasons... its not so easy to just fuckin "drop it". Thats like punching a helpless little kid in the face and then when he tells someone to help him out about this, they tell him to just drop it... Uh, thats bullshit. I dont talk shit about death metal, SO SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT BLACK METAL.

yet again, this is not directed toward everyone. but, im drunk, pissed and feeling invincable... so you know how that goes. FUCK YOU

timedragon, give up man. To me BM is better than sex in a bottle, but I don't have to justify my preference to anyone, and neither do you. It's a matter of taste. Some people get pissed off by keyboards, some don't. Don't be on the defencive, it's not a good place to be.

Before i completely lose my mind with you, when was the last time i made fun of black metal directly towards you? Quote me, please, i'd like to know.

The Black Metal Wars date back to 1-2 years ago, before you joined and were able to give me a hard time about it. It's fucking over now. The reason you can't understand my dislike for Black Metal is because you're so in love with it....ever think of that? All my reasons are apparently "invalid" according to you, but they're fine with me. Why the hell should i validate my opinions to suit you? I DON'T LIKE BLACK METAL! I also don't like gay men, i don't like pink cars, or women with short hair, or whinning kids who can't let go of something on an internet forum. Do i need to justify these things to anyone? NO! Me not liking Black Metal is the same as some Norwegian "true" Black Metaller hating American Death Metal. His reasons might sound ridiculous to me, but to him they're perfect. So i'll say it again, DROP THE FUCKING SUBJECT!!!!! I don't like Black Metal, never have, and i don't need to explain why to the likes of you or anyone else.

Please, someone close this thread before i get really angry.

Sex in a bottle would be overly constrictive and limiting. Music should be better than that.

Yo, time: time to chill, man. Why should you relate to our reasons for disliking black metal? It's personal taste. If the fact that mem likes nothing about it isn't a good enough reason for you I don't know what would be. You're getting nothing by arguing it. All you're doing is coming off as an intolerant fanboy incapable of comprehending why your taste isn't universal. He tells you exactly what he considers good death metal, none of which use keyboards, or would be better off using them, and you bring in other bands to justify keyboards? You might as well bring in black metal. That's just a goddamn sloppy argument. You can't argue taste with somebody in a way that's productive beyond both of you explaining and justifying your own. If you have some problem with the reasons he claims he likes what he likes, you haven't addressed them. You just focus on why he claims he doesn't like black metal, which should be fine based on what he likes in music; none of it's there in black metal. If the music does nothing to stimulate him - or me, for that matter - how is that not a reason to relate to? Isn't there music that works for you? Doesn't most of that music work along the same lines? Isn't there music that doesn't work along those lines, and therefore doesn't work for you? Maybe some of the music produced by the bands on memnoch's list? Bam: you've related. Now cuddle. Extreme metal love.

You should drop it for this reason: nobody hurts you by insulting your tastes. That's impossible. If you really feel they do, you should stop listening to such an underground subgenre that will never get the respect you feel it merits. Once you've stated why you like some music, and maybe given an example of what's good in it, anything you do past that is no better than the guy who insulted your music for no reason. Obviously anybody's distaste for black metal isn't established on grounds good enough for you - and, since you seem to be looking for a convincing reason, I can't blame you; nobody's every gonna convince you black metal's not worth listening to so long as you like it - so you're never going to find somebody who's opinion you can 'relate' to and can stop trying. Just remember there's so much music out there so everybody can be satisfied with his chunk, chill out, and let this damn thread die.

Um, I meant sex in a bottle not in a sense of performing the act in a bottle, but "bottled sex" basically.

I guess I wasn't here for the black metal wars. But I do remember the Tool wars. I think it was almost only Darko and me defending Tool.

I love black metal. I don't know what you guys are talking about. I'm listening to Burzum right now and singing along. And dancing. What's black metal but a celebration of joy, like dancing? What's more True than dancing a mazurka to some ambient nonsense?

And to Undying-Hatred: I encouraged people to believe that my avatar was a picture of me. It always lightens whatever I have to say, because even when I'm being a prick, there's this smiling face right next to it. I still think Poldi's a puppet because of his avatar. And I refuse to believe otherwise.

I could find some instances of the black metal wars in my post history, but I really don't have the time to look. Or I do, but won't use it that way. Though I might to see if I can figure out who Undying-Hatred was.

It is funny how you relate the user to their avatar.
Then when someone changes it, it fucks you all up.

David Cross was in Run Ronnie Run, but I never saw it. Today I saw a guy who looked exactly like David Cross, if he'd eaten Bob Odenkirk in one sitting. He was seriously about 250 pounds heavier, but aside from that he looked exactly the same.

And yeah, David's my avatar, Bob's slayme's avatar. It's a sign of our common-law heterosexual marriage. We're forever united in Mr. Show and Scott Ian.

Well, that was drunk and gay. And we give thanks for it.
