Anyone know of any good digital cameras out there, or atleast a good company, like sony, cannon. Im lookin to buy a digital camera and i dont really know what the hell to get.

Ive got a digicam, its not bad, its a Fujifilm finepix A605, i wouldnt really know anything bout digicams though. Im sure sony do the best though..

Do yourself a favor and STAY AWAY from the HP digital camera's
I have one and it sucks, blurry as hell and cant take any detailed shots.

yea i just ordered it for 300 i got that camera and a 256mb memory card, its badass it does like mpeg movies to, the first thing i plan to film when i get it is this exact thing http://media.ebaumsworld.com/airhornfun.wmv its such an awesome idea it makes me feel good inside   |

Well if i didnt have this i wouldnt be able to show you my sexy ran, plus i dont really need any guitar shit right now (other than my ran) , everthing i have is good enough for me. Plus that money was going towards my stepdad to pay him back the 400 bucks he fronted me for the guitar, i figured i had 2 more months until the thing came, that'll give me enough time to make another 300. |

canon s200 elph is what a friend of mine has.....his words, "yeah it does well, but if you want anything that has to be zoomed up on, it's a pain." I remember we had a great time with that thing on an orch trip we took....it can do 30 secs of a movie...no DO NOT think that!

I have a Nikon Coolpix 2100. It's very good at taking certain pictures. My only problem is that the zoom sucks, so I can't take pictures of hawks soaring through the air or of deer just before they jog away. If you just want to take pictures of things that are relatively close or large, you'll be fine. In fact, I went on a 20 mile walk from my house to my Grandma's house, and we took the train tracks because it's the straightest route. We saw a couple of trains. I took pictures of them as they went by, and the pictures came out just great, even thought the train was a moving object. On the other hand, on that same walk, I saw several hawks that I tried to take pictures of, and they came out like shit, you can't even see the hawks, just dots in the sky.
So, do you need a really good zoom? Don't get a Nikon Coolpix 2100.
Do you want a cheap camera that's going to take great pictures of people, objects, and animals that are either large or close to you? Then get a Nikon Coolpix 2100. It was less than $200, by the way. I want to say $180, but I'm not sure.
