Vice Presidential Debates
 go nuts...
What do ya'll think of Dick Chaney and his debate against John Edwards? I supported Dick for his middle class type approach.

I only cought the last 10 minutes or so. I talked to a few people who saw it and they commented on how Chaney failed to reply about alot of things Edwards accused him of.

but yeh basically it was just bullshit, the guy who asked questions would just accuse kerry or bush of something, than edwards or cheney would defend their running mate..
waste of time.

I watched several bits and pieces of it...not very entertaining..I thought Edwards came off as a dumb hick and Cheney came off as a old, tired, grumpy senior.
I liked when Edwards brought up the fact that Dick Cheney had a lesiban daughter, then you could pick her out at the end.

Not that there is any thing wrong with being a lesbian, I myself am one, but shit talk like that has no damn relevance in running the country. I would have punched him for making that statement about my daughter on TV for 2 reasons. 1, because it is her business and 2, because he made it to sound like an insult.

#1. It's common knowledge.
#2. It was not used in a context that was even close to negative.
Cheney was obviously not bothered by it, and, in fact, thanked Edwards for the way he represented himself and family. I know if I were in Cheney's situation I wouldn't have been irritated. Well, not at that. Maybe at the fact that I didn't do a good job of warding off good questions.

The point it serves is to show that Kerry and Edwards support gay rights and relationships. The only reason i believe he brought it up for so long was to make sure that people didnt get the wrong immpression. But apparantly draging that point out so long only made his stance more confusing. Overall liberal/conservative crap pisses me off all poloticenes are pieces of shit they all either want money or power.
With that said i hate Dick Cheney with a passion.
