can someone help me?
theres a dialer that showed up on my computer one day. i cannot find the original file itself, but it always copies itself into temp folder, and always, the copy's name is randomly generated, so i really am stuck with this. i've included a pic of what the dialer icon is. the only info i can get is the product name is Dialer Application, and the file name, under the properties of each copy seems to be dialer.exe, yet when i look for it under search i come up empty handed.usually, i'll leavew my comp for a second, and when i come back i'll see a bunch of little windows that say "already running!", and the name of each little window is dialer application or something close to it, please help me!

Most likely spyware.. hacked into your computer, and is dialing, making calls and browsing your net through your computer IP number or something like that, just find a spyware/adware remover and remove it, it should remove that file, if its not critical.

If you have an image of your computer saved somewhere you could always re-image your computer, or if you don't have much stuff on your computer and don't have an image of it, you could just reformat.

Get antivirus and scan your comp
and if you have windows XP you can check system management if there is a dialer.exe running, close that and delete the file
